i thought soo too.... but if you read the comics. and you listen to her... you'll realize... **** like that, if you went through it... you wouldn't come out sane either.

My Shepard was blown up, suffocated, and burned alive, then experimented on for 2 years.

... and his morals remain uncompromised.

Garrus got half his face blown off and his entire squad was betrayed and murdered... but he'll still show mercy if you ask him to. Jack was tortured during her childhood, drugged up, and used, but she'll show mercy if you ask her too. Miranda was ready to kill the man who sold her sister out, but she'll show mercy if you ask her to.

... Liara won't spare anyone she feels deserves to pay. You can try to sway her to be merciful, but she'll have none of it.

I'm not saying she doesn't have her reasons, or that it didn't effect her... but I'm saying it doesn't justify her actions, nor does it warrant unrequited love.

Well all suffer and we all love. Tali lost her mother, her father, the respect of her entire people, the man she herself loved, her friends, her teammates, and must live with the knowledge that her father's legacy is monstrous and deplorable. She's arguably lost more than anyone else... but she didn't let it break her like Liara did. Liara become something I can't commit myself to, quite Tali endures the hardships and emerges stronger and more endearing than before.

Very well said and this is why Tali Love is going to reach 1000 pages! And Bioware can be damned if they try to take Tali away in ME3.... cause i wont buy it if they take her away!

Yep. THats part of what I love so much about Tali.. and she never gives up on you, not even once. She never let it break her, and she never let it affect her feelings for you Image IPB

I'll second that.  Liara is of equivalent age (by maturity) to Tali and has also been through rough circumstances, but whereas Tali held through, Liara is pushing borderline evil.  From her personality in ME 1, there has been a VERY big change.  My good Shep can't stand to romance her anymore either, even if she did save him.

Dont forget Poor Samara, everytime she has birthed a child the creatures turned out to be a demon of the night winds, all three of her children had to be forced into a life of solitude, but one would not have it.

For 400 years she chased her daughter, battling droves of mercenaries, and even spectres, and even having to risk the life of her friend, her captain, to finally trap the beast.

Go in peace to the Goddess Morinth.

The fact that she has no family, from losing her father just recently, wants me to just hug her and never let go...

What do you think Tali's house would look like/have.
My friends and I were looking threw the worlds of ME and started a ME: Cribs side story.
Just want to hear what you guys think.
If people seem interested I could get a copy of our ME: Cribs Jack, Mordin, and Wrex. Those are the ones we have so far.

I have no idea. Though I imagine she'd like for it to have a very large garage where she can mess around with tech stuff. :)

What I really disliked about Liara in this game is she didn't seem to care about Shepard's goals: she was just completely obsessed with her own.  Ok, I guess she told me where Samara and Thane were, but if I did enough walking and talking to people, I would have figured that out by myself.  You'd think she would care about the Reapers, since if they succeed there will be no Shadow Broker to kill anyway: everyone will be dead.  She aparrently thought it worthy to bring Shepard back from the dead, but not to help him beyond a couple pieces of crappy information.  Tali was an easy choice after seeing this.

If serving on the admiralty board was what Tali wanted, this Shepard Commander wouldn't put her in the position to have to choose.

I mean, who wouldn't want to get into all the hottest flotilla bars no questions asked?  Just drop baby girl's position at the door and the path opens up.

Not sure if anyone has posted this one yet, but I thought it was pretty cool.

This is by Lepoitt72 on Deviantart:  http://lepoitt72.dev...or-V1-153510120

...that would be a awsome pic if her eyes were level.....Image IPB

i thought those were her eyes too, i lol'd and i hurr'd

but those aren't her eyes. thats light reflecting off her helmet. :D

i'm...not sure. if they are eyes, maybe the head is tilted

No, her neck would be tilted more if it were.  And you'll notice that the white spots are also placed where the mask curves to catch light.

More of it. The plates on her lower face are static to her chin. If she tilt's her head, the whole helmet and hood goes with her head. What you said seemed like ( if you were wearing glasses ) that they stay horizontal when you tilt you'r head. :o

I hope to never have that situation present itself, because i know the migrant fleet comes before Tali's own heart and hopes.
Legion!
Get all the Geth together and get then out of the quarian space, we'll put you in a nice area around batarian space.
That way there wont be an urgency for Tali to become an Admiral, and we can continue our happy life together on the normandy strengthening her immune system :3

WOOT IT IS NOW OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED! I used the mod I listed earlier in the forum to unlock tali at the start when you first get the Normandy. Bear in mind this does NOT put her on the ship for conversations it just unlocks her for missions and early conversations where she would not be available otherwise.

After doing the Merc Signup I told the Kid this was where he signs up. Tali (god bless her) rather cynically states "You will make an easy target for Archangel" Cant wait to see what she says to Garrus!

however Tali doesnt have anything to say to Fist. Kinda disappointed by that one

Yes. Not a doubt in my mind.

She already told on a mission where you recruit her -"otherwise to hell with admiralty board". Her attitude against politics is alike Ashley's in ME1. That's one of the very rare similarities between them.

If you would be so nice, write a PM to me if you uncover anuthing more ok? I am not gonna interfere in the game's scripts to do so. But still i am much curious. ( and please do it via PM, or i would never find it on this topic, would have to see all 700 sites to do so :crying: )

Like I say, a nerdy b*tch.

I can understand that she doesn't care about Shepard as a lover, it's been two years and all that stuff. But she being so obsessed with the SB plot that she doesn't really care about Reapers and Galaxy anymore.. that's kinda horrible.

Anyway,Samara owns her as a biotic, so I don't care.

It really works? Woah.. thats awesome :D

I wonder if it messes with the game later on though, with her recruitment and stuff. I mean what if you did her recruitment mission with her in your party...?

If she did knew so much about Thane without any problem, she probably knew that Shepard was alive too. IF she still felt anything towards him, she would leave Illium inmideately to look for him being alive.
