WOOT IT IS NOW OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED! I used the mod I listed earlier in the forum to unlock tali at the start when you first get the Normandy. Bear in mind this does NOT put her on the ship for conversations it just unlocks her for missions and early conversations where she would not be available otherwise.

After doing the Merc Signup I told the Kid this was where he signs up. Tali (god bless her) rather cynically states "You will make an easy target for Archangel" Cant wait to see what she says to Garrus!

however Tali doesnt have anything to say to Fist. Kinda disappointed by that one

I wonder if it messes with the game later on though, with her recruitment and stuff. I mean what if you did her recruitment mission with her in your party...?

It doesnt mess with the game at all I can vouch for that because I did the IFF mission with Legion in my party. However it did provide some extra interesting convo when I took Legion with me to recruit Tali.

Off to do the Garrus mission now and see if she says anything cool like Legion does.

How can you say this?  Liara rescues Shepard from the Shadow Broker and the Collectors.  She obviously cares.   Wait and see for the whole Liara story to come out before you make judgements on her character.  BW had to leave a lot out b/c that portion of the story is being developed in the comic book plus the DLC they will probably release within the year.

What Tali has for Shepard is basically a "perfect storm" of attraction towards him. There's many variables you need to take into consideration to really put into perspective just how attracted Tali would be towards Shepard, and I don't mean physically.

-Shepard would be damn appealing to any typical woman. He's a handsome, powerful, super famous hero. An alpha male in every aspect.
-Tali lacked affection from her primary male role model in her life. This may seem a little weird, but in a way Shepard fills a void left by her father; he's a few years her senior (not a lot, but enough), and he's in a position of authority, much like a father would be. Tali has lacked (and longed for) affection from a this type of figure.
-Shepard's saved Tali's life numerous times. Hell, the first time they met, they met by him saving her life.
-Shepard is Tali's first love. The first (non-family, anyway) who's seen her face. He's also the first person she's kissed, slept with, and who's skin she's felt against her own.

So yeah, Tali's love and appreciation for Shepard is almost unfathomable. He's by far the best thing to ever happen to her, and if she lost him it would be devastating beyond words. 

I don't want to make it seem like Tali would be a helpless, mindless love zombie around Shepard, but I don't think there isn't much she wouldn't do for him

Get all the Geth together and get then out of the quarian space, we'll put you in a nice area around batarian space.
That way there wont be an urgency for Tali to become an Admiral, and we can continue our happy life together on the normandy strengthening her immune system :3

The creators may leave Geth in pease for themselves, but apologize for their side? Geth were the ones who stood agains their very reason of existence. They did driven them out of their homeworld. They did the biggest role of weakening Quarian people's immune system by making them live only in space for ( dunno if I am right in there )
last 300 years! Quarians will never apologize first. The urge thay have for Geth's doings are far too great. I duobt if next 100 of peace ( if it comes to it, I hope so ) would make them think of Geth in any other way than as the ones that endangered their very existence.

Agreed, but she also completes Shepard, she is everything my shepard is not which is very very romantic. My shep is rene/gon half and half. so talis cute little innocence just.....just....*sniffle*...its just awsome!

I think that for a soldier, who had fought on many fronts, killed many enemies, and had hard times very often - it is great to have a partner, that is ( let's tell the truth ) a bit more fragile than women he may spotted on the front lines ( like Ashley ). It would make him more of human, if he has someone he could care for. Noth only the mission, the balance of the universe, all life-threatening factors.

I know she cares about Shepard, but she ignores the collector mission despite having direct connection with the reapers. I'm not saying that she should be recruitable, but the way she "doesn't care" about the mission just isn't something I like. "No I can't, please go hack some computers". That's odd.

But anyway, probably when the rest of the comics are released we will know more about it, and sure she will have some more background then. But until then, I just can't understand her "darkification".

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Liara. It's just that I find wrong the way she lived the last two years on her own. That makes her les attractive for me.

By the way, I would be very shocked if there was some kind of DLC exclusive for her. I don't think that will happen.

Yeah. Shepard's seen a lot of violence in his day. He's been in countless battles, killed many people, and seen many horrors. No matter how strong willed someone is, that takes a toll on a person.

I imagine he can look at Tali, consider how she is, her personality; and it would bring him immense peace. Someone like her is the reason he's fought so much in his life, and the fact that the galaxy is a safer place for her, makes it all worth it and justifies every battle he's had to endure.

About the second part of answer: she did, and she will most likely do in the future. But regardles of this, the scene where Asari speaks to Salarian "dad", made me smile .  One of rare evidence of Asari having more family life ( to live with one partner untill he dies at least ).

Yeah, that is surely not a coincidence. The only reasonable explanation may be, that they decided of the recruitment quest line after making those levels ready. And did not remembered to delete unusefull files.

I am also nearly sure that there are plenty of unused dialogues made by Liz Soroka, that were not used in the game. ( or yet used ) .

Can a n00b to this forum also join in in professing his Shepard's love for Tali? Seriously, she didn't have much competition as far as I was concerned. That and her moments with Shepard, her inflection as she talks about him, you know she wants Shepard.



I just hope for ME3 Bioware isn't such a tease about Tali's face.
