Actually, Miranda's loyalty seems to shift more towards shepard. Case in point, if you bring Miranda with you to fight the human reaper, when you go to destroy the core and TIM comes up on her omni tool, she deliberately cuts him off even after he tells her not to.

Oh, I haven't had Miranda with me in that mission. I'll try it next time, thanks for the tip. I'll also bring Tali to Zaeed's mission on my next playthrough. B)

I'm thinking I'll save everyone's loalty mission until I get Tali so I can bring her on all of them for her invaluable input and chimings during conversation.

For instance, if you bring her with you on Tuchanka and they explain the rite to enter the clan, she asks, "Is this a pilgrimage?" I wanted to say, "*sigh* No Tali, this isn't even close." Image IPB

Actually I was thinking about doing the same thing. I'll do it on my next playthrough. I wanna have every bit of Tali-dialogue available.

I suggest leaving Tali's mission for near the end so you can bring Legion along. Hilarity ensues.Image IPB

Of all the romance options given in both ME1 and 2, Tali's the one which I think has the best and most rewarding progression. She says it herself, from friend to someone she respects to someone she loves because you, beyond her imaginings, was able to see her not as a Quarian but as a person and lets face it, Liara and Ashley's romance were pretty pale by comparision. "Oh you were touched by Protean memories... I must examine you!" or "Oh... I need to make sure your weapon's discharged, cleaned and ready for more action! Sir!".... right.

Jack's romance comes close though, but Tali's been the one nice constant since ME1 and I hope she comes back for ME3.

I don't really "Hate" any character from ME2, which is odd.

In ME1 I couldn't stand neither Ash nor Kaidan. Don't ask me why. In ME2, however, I even like Miranda and Jacob, though Jacob's loyalty mission is kind of weird. Oh, well, Morinth is the exception. I just don't understand her.

But again, Tali's above them all =3

EDIT:

I also think Tali's progression as a character is what makes her romance the best. Jack's close, true... but just lacks the feeling of a 2 year romance, with friendship, death and reunite (I don't really think Tali's appearence first steps in the game was just for show, even if you don't recruit her).

Jack's romance is a Meet -> love relationship, whereas Tali one has "friend" between it. And being a quarian makes it much more interesting, because of what means to romance a quarian.

Anyway, that's for Male Shep. Have to look Garrus and Thane ones myself (don't like youtube).

I know this is off subject, but I used to be a big star wars fan, but it's **** now compared to the mass effect universe, I don't even miss the jedi

My friend Mojo is a HUGE KotoR fan. When I told him there was no swords in ME he was a little unsure about it. But now he's addicted. He says the story more then makes up for the lack of meele combat.

Well, get close to a husk, press 'F' and then incinerate them... That's close enough for me (but I have to admit, KotoR was indeed great for melee combat!).

Tali's romance also feels more rewarding because it feels like it was building for 2 games. She wasn't someone you just met, but someone you've been to hell and back with already, and would go to hell and back again for anytime.

Alright. It's finished. I've done and re-done it. Listened to it repeatedly. Fine polished and tuned it more than once....And it's as close to having the "tender" feel I wanted for it. I'm satisfied. What am I referring to? Why a tribute to our very own Ms. Tali'Zorah vas Normandy on this Valentine's Day.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Solar Flower (Tali'Zorah vas Normandy)

Yeah, it does build. All through ME1 there's subtle hints and in ME2 it all comes out why, there's such a history and it feels so true with Tali :)
