agreed, which is why Mirand isn't really a good choise for romance since she doesn't really have a personality...

I'm going to disagree on the charge that Miranda doesn't have a personality. She clearly has very deep, caring and protective instincts for her sister. She's also constantly battling an identity crisis with herself thanks to being raised as the DNA wonder child of her father, leaving her in doubt as to whether she herself as a person has any real worth and ability. That said, I don't think she is anywhere near as charming as Tali.

Has anybody gotten a really bad feeling that Tali won't be a teammate in ME3 but have a diminished role because of the fact that she could die in ME3...I mean if all of your teammates can die in ME3, BioWare would have a really tough time and a lot of work to somehow meet some pre-set teammate quota if they were gonna bring the ME2 teammates back AND make some new teammates...Y'know for those people that lost a bunch of their team in ME2.

The thought crossed my mind and it got me really worried...'Cause now that I think about it...Tali as a squadmate in ME3 seems kind of unlikely :/

When it comes to the love scene its bland they just love and that's it. Whereas with Tali its an evolution for her character...

Well, i wanna get a a save so that i could see how it would play out with Liara in ME3.

I just hope that i will get my ME1 back this weekend so that i can play through it without romancing anyone so that i could use that save for Tali. And if i dont get it back, i might just rent it so that i could get myself a save.

I just kept her in my party the entire time, that kept her safe for me. Apparently it can go wrong if you pick a crappy biotic for the swarm sequence, but I didn't have that problem

I think BioWare will have all their bases covered.  Whoever dies can be replaced, perhaps with members of the original crew?

I'm worried about that, but im gonna go optimistic and hope Bioware makes it a ridiculously huge game with all of the characters and thier plots

Elaborate, you can promise to stay faithful to your ME1 LI and if you do you can't romance anyone in ME2?

Well, i promised myself that for 1 save i wont romance anyone so that i could see what happens with Liara, who was my LI, in the last game. And if i would romance someone there would be some consequences.

Garrus was my squad leader and he was loyal, its the first and only time ive seen someone die in the vent part even though ive picked the same people. I know that i amde a mistake and chose Thane as the second strike team leader and i assume thats why Samara died but i made all the right choices before that and she was dead before i picked thane as second team leader anyways.

Who did you pick to be the leader of team 2? If it aint Miranda or Garrus, techie dies.

There is definitely a distinctive "mande hørm" in this thread. That translates in to "man funk" but when used in a social context, as it is on this occasion, refers more to the male bravado and camaraderie that often crops up in all-male gatherings rather than body odour.

On a truly serious note, all I can say is I'm glad I wasn't still in afghanistan when ME2 was released.  Or rather i'm not there now, forced from the girl I love, and my missus, while the feeling's so strong.

I'm glad on your behalf as well, Moth. From what I read, see and hear it's rough all over down there and not the kind of place one wants to be distracted by these sorts of emotions and thoughts.

I'm worried as well.  If they do something like that, a lot of fans will not be happy.  I'm sure they wouldn't do that to her though, since she's a LI and since she's been with you through the first two games (same with Garrus).

Thats the purpose of this thread, to not allow that to happen, but dont see why bioware would invest so much time to make all of the characters unique and interesting just to not put them in third game, plus they would have a multitude of extremely pissed of fans, the fans of all the teamamtes besides Tali would freak out on the forums, while the Tali fans would be raiding there headquarters, and WWIII would ensure.

I suppose i must have slipped up and lost someones lyalty without noticing as i know the only way to save your whole crew is to have full loyalty but what about upgrading Mordins omni-tool getting grunt the shotty upgrade does that effect surviveability as well or is it only the ship upgrades that really come into play in that regard.
