If you played Mass Effect 1 and you did Tali's side mission you have the option when you first meet her at the human colony to "Prove it is you" This will unlock an additional conversation when you reach Veetor. You can ask tali to join you and then ask what her mission is. She will explain that it is in Geth space which should tell you how important the mission is.

Thanks to this reference we have concluded that the Tali recruitment mission is the mission that takes priority over Creator Tali'Zora joining Shepard-Commander at the start.

It seems too shallow ( am I spelling it right? ) for me. Would she really leave him away, right after getting to know that her close friend, more of it - someone who rescued her life not once, was alive?

And yes, after playing through ME2 5 times, I skip all the cutscenes and dialogue, except Tali's dialogue...

Not enough data available to reach a consensus. Data suggests that Creators are bald for living in suits for a great deal of their life.

Now see that were it gets interesting, now case skin can have the same effect if you were a skin tight suit for to long case skin much like hair need oxygen so could one argue Evo suit may flow some part of oxygen threw the suit to help keep skin happy and allow hair.

Key example Male Quarians helmets are far larger then there female counter parts perhaps to make room? or perhaps Quarians males skulls are more elongated -ponders-. I do think that Quarians helmets have a bit of room in them and we shouldn't judge the shape of them for there head.

Creator skin may have evolved to not require air.

Unless the suit is ruptured there is no contact with the outside world that is not thouroughly filtered. I don't make it a habit of insulting people, but it does get hard in a discussion sometimes when one person presents their side as the only way. If you enter a discussion unwilling to accept new ideas, or see something from a new perspective, then nothing is gained; and you might as well be talking to a wall. 

And like I said, a lot of this discussion is supposition, though some theories make more sens than others.

Actually think of it this way. For the Quarian people to send anyone into Geth space the data they are after must be extremely valuable to the fleet. The admirality board would not give Tali this mission lightly and that is why she wont simply abandon it to join Shepard-Commander.

Also she is not sure what to think about Shepard-Commander showing up after being dead 2 years in the company of Cerberus, a group that attacked the Flotilla. Tali is still very loyal to her people until the trial
