Indeed. What the f**k were we talking about?
Being a bit rough with Tali in bed and her not being a "rice krispie" apparently.
I like cereal. Could do with some Tali on toast right about now!!
Hell, Tali can wake me up any morning...In fact, any night as well.
Carl Brutananadlewski is somewhat of a role model for me. I can keep the double entendres up all night long.

But you gotta think of it from a work point of view, say ME3 comes out in a couple years, say that they have 10 squadmates again, ok if they go the route of "We'll have all the ME2 squadmates as possible squadmates" assuming they even use that kind of system.
That means they'd have to invent 7 new characters (I say 7 because Wrex, Ashley/Kaidan, and Liara are likely to come back as teammates, though they are also plauged by the whole "they could be dead" issue, which makes it even more confusing.
OK so they have to make 7 new characters, AND record dialogue for TWENTY characters, that's an INSANE amount of VA time and money.
Also considering that EA will likely be pressuring them to get ME3 out in a couple years...I have a baaaaad feeling about it.
Though they could view ME3 as they should, since it's the final, "go big or go home"
I know it's a long shot but they could have got a lot of the work done already, a lot of the main plot stuff that would be the same whatever characters survived. In the end, as long as you can see the friend/relationship with Tali through to a reasonable end I'll be happy.
I have absolutely no doubt Tali will be in ME3 if she was an ME2 LI, I mean I recall hearing that a dev somewhere said your ME1 LI and ME2 LI can have some kind of confrontation, but my point is that I'm worried she won't be a squadmate, or get a satisifying ending.

But it's also the last game in the trilogy, they can go all-out. If none/most of the ME2 squad mates don't return, it makes the whole suicie mission thing look weak and inconsequential. What's the point of even caring who survives if it doesn't affect ME3 - after all. If Tali or someone else doesn't survive in someone's playthrough, they can just have an NPC (who doesn't join the squad) replace them. People who botched the suicide mission but still had Shepard survive need at least 1-2 squad mates still alive. Add Kaidan/Ashley and Liara and there's 3-4 squad mates, which is enough. Add a couple new squad mates for ME3 and that's 5-6, which is about the same number that ME1 had.Xena_Shepard wrote...
Yeah but ME3 will also likely be a stand alone game like ME2...So they'd have to keep that in mind when they design the squad.
Technically, Bioware could have had neither Ashley nor Kaidan in the ME2 to account for new players who don't know who they are. But there are still there in ME2 probably for those who didn't import. Sometimes just knowing that you worked x person before is enough.Though I guess that could be used as an arguement FOR re-using the old squadmembers, if they never played ME2, nobody had the chance to die, if they never played ME1, they wouldn't know who they are.
Yea. Having Wrex dead in ME2 doesn't leave the new player with one less squad mate. And I'm sure they base a lot of this kinda stuff on the "canon" shep, and I'm sure "canon" shep survived with all his squadmates.

Also it's totally strange to me how Zaeed is more likable than a lot of others... I mean... seroiusly. "I don't like this... there's no bookie D:< Just a terminal. I'd bet on the dumb looking white one. Slow dogs always fight harder". Even if you can't properly talk to him, all his lines, his look, his voice, even his loyalty quest, is more appealing than many other characters. This is very strange.

I find it puzzling as to why all the new characters aren't as well developed as Garrus and Tali. Yeah, Garrus and Tali were in the first game, but the other people from ME1 also got only 1 game to develop themselves, yet we developed more feelings for them than we did with the new characters in ME2. Maybe it's because there's 10? Or well, 11?

Thus must be badass.

Ok, it's like an insane cosplay brothel, there i said it.
--------------
There is definitely a distinctive "mande hørm" in this thread. That translates in to "man funk" but when used in a social context, as it is on this occasion, refers more to the male bravado and camaraderie that often crops up in all-male gatherings rather than body odour.
On a truly serious note, all I can say is I'm glad I wasn't still in afghanistan when ME2 was released. Or rather i'm not there now, forced from the girl I love, and my missus, while the feeling's so strong.
I love all you guys and your Taliphilia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad on your behalf as well, Moth. From what I read, see and hear it's a rough all over down there and not the kind of place one wants to be distracted by these sorts of emotions and thoughts.
Doesn't matter, not going back til NEXT YEAR woowoo! So, you were saying? About man homos?
Not "man homos"! "Man funk"! As in what's transpiring around us in this thread (i.e. good natured male bantering).
