Jack died already und Morinth toke care of the survivors.
Many of the crew has lost their live this day, only jacob, miranda and morinth escaped.

no i played near full paragon, either way i almost always press paragon/renegade interactions when they appear, guess i was just slow *facepalm*

But anyway its on the Alarei when you found her fathers body..at the part she says "There wrong! you wouldnt just die like this! You wouldnt leave me.."interrupt"

Not they cant not put her maybe not as a squad member but she is surely there in game shes gonna play a great part if she replaces her dad on the admiralty

I know that can actually happen (not Tali, but someone like her), but that it's extremely rare, at least for me -.-

It would be a shame if she and Garrus didn't finish off the trilogy. Why make someone a squad member 2 games in a row and then arbitrarily remove them from service? Plus Mass Effect 3 can't take place too long after ME2, I mean the reapers are right there. I highly doubt that they would part ways so quickly.

KFD was on earlier, but he seems to have vanished. Probably a good reason for it, but I must have missed it. ME2 is drawing my attention, as was chapter 8 of Objects in Space.

I kinda wanted to point out to Kenneth that Quarians have been in those "buckets" for centuries..im sure they would have came up with ways to resolve the lack or lateral audition issue

Even though this forum does make up only a somewhat small portion of the player base i think that it is a good enough sampling of players that the developers pay attention to these threads. This Thread is the biggest one 'Ive ever seen on any forums so I'm not too worried about them killing off Tali, however there is the possibility that they may so this thread is still needed.

This is right to a point. Statistically the sample size is large enough that it would accurately represent the consumer base as a whole. The only way you can really disagree with that is if you want to make a case that there is sample bias in that consumers more likely to use the BioWare forums are more likely to favor Tali over anybody else.

To that I would say, there is a case to be made, actually - I don't know if it's the most convincing (or that it would even come close to fully explaining away the huge disparity between fanbases that show Tali far and away ahead of all others) or if it even takes away from your larger point, that the game would still sell. To that I would say - true enough, I don't think it would discourage many fans (even the most hardcore of the Tali obsessed) from actually purchasing ME3, but I still would have to question the decision to try and anger as many fans as possible in one single move.

Because I think, short of an unavoidable ending to ME3 that has the Reapers kill everybody, that would just about be the most effective means to such an end.
