Hey Ant! Have a listen/watch to this and see if you feel like placing it on the OP. It's a piece I made specifically for our good natured Tali'Zorah and her burgeoning love with Shepard. I made it yesterday since it seemed appropriate for Valentine's Day.

That seems entirely plausible although we don't see enough in-game for me to be entirely sure that would be her main modus operandi given the circumstances. That said, Miranda does demonstrate that she does not consider herself inferior to Jack and will not be stepped on lightly (though she has little problem accepting Shepard's command even when in disagreement with him early on in the game - the mark of a professional or a good soldier in my opinion).

First of all, you people are nuts.

Secondly, I have to say that Tali is probably the best and most naturally evolving character in Mass Effect.

Liz Sroka has really managed to capture the character, and I hope that in any NPC/Game character awards, she gets nominated for this role, she deserves it.

I actually replayed ME1 without any romance justso the imported savegame to ME2 would allow Shepard and Tali to get together without any Liara - Tali - Shepard triangle issues cropping up in ME3.

Why do I think Tali is the best evolving character and romance option?

1. You save her in the alley in ME1.
2. You help her complete her pilgrimage
3. Save the galaxy together.
4. In ME2 you again end up helping her with her own mission.
5. You later end up saving her again and she joins your crew.
6. Kelly mentions Tali seems interested (does this happen even if you do not help Tali with her pilgrimage in ME1?)
7. You speak for Tali as her captain at the trial.
8. You help her find out what happen with her father, you comfort her.
9. You defend her at the trial without dishonoring her father.
10. You confess your mutual attraction and concern for her health.
11. Tali risks her life for you by running through the ducts.
12. Shepard risks his life to ensure Tali can run through the ducts.
13. In the endgame Shepard risks his life saving Tali at the end of the boss fight. (there are conditions that determine this)
14. Tali saves Shepard at the end of escaping the Collector base. (there are conditions that determine this)

All the Tali and Shepard stuff could easily fill a novel on it's own. (Hmm, hey BioWare writers, how about that when ME3 is complete? Write a Tali novel, from Tali's point of view of her adventures with Shepard, them falling in love etc. Would be one heckuva Sci-Fi Romance novel, heck I'm a guy but I'd probably still read it. *laughs*)

Compare for example Tali to Liara (nothing against Liara fans, I got a ME1 save with her romanced too) which just seem to fall head over heals for Shepard way too fast. (and then the slight kiss and cold shoulder in ME2 for story reasons/plot, I'm sure that is further developed in ME3) but... Tali and Shepard is storywise and characterwise able to move from strangers to friends in ME1, from close friends to romance in ME2, and I truly hope from romance to a full love relationship in ME3.

And hopefully a idealistic ME3 ending with Tali and Shepard married, and it would be hilarious yet appreciated if it resulted in a Human/Quarian hybrid. "Tali (holding a bundle in
her arms while standing infront of a window looking into space): Look
Shepard, your eyes. (strokes the cheek of the child, we can't see the
face or any features just the bundle). Shepard: And your legs. Tali:
*laughs*"
