No, not really. As I said I did the same thing before the game came out, just to be safe.cdsmith0 wrote...

Tell me, any of you find it difficult to pursue alternative romance on different profile after first playthrough with Tali's romance? I tried romancing Jack for story purposes but couldn't bring myself to tell Tali no.
Yes. Knowing what I know now, and in spite of being fully aware it is "just a game", the thought of not pursuing Tali weighs heavily on my heart. Conversely pursuing the love interest of someone else and knowing that my heart really lies somewhere else also does not seem neither right nor fair to the other love interest(s).
I am running into the same problem....I am on my third play thru and can't keep from romancing tali..... I actually am going to play thru ME 1 and stay single so I am faithful only to tali....
Is that sad?
All Tali fans, read this! IT'S UP TO US TO KEEP TALI ALIVE! 2.0!!

Couldn't agree more. I'm itching for the chance to 'officially' drop Liara in ME3 and fly off into the sunset with my true love

Interesting proposal, unique as far as i am aware. currently working on similar project where garrus speaks with tali. will release it as part of my one shot collection.cdsmith0 wrote...

I think it's time to take a step back once again and ponder exactly what it is about our favourite girl we love so much. is it her eyes? Her bod? Her voice? Her cute ingenuity?
I put this question to you: At what PRECISE moment, in either ME1 or 2, did you realise you adored Tali? Was it something she said or did or did it just happen?
time to spread the love
I enjoy your frequent Tali-questions, Moth. They encourage reflection and discussion.
For me, I think the realisation that I was developing a crush on Tali and really would prefer her as a love interest began a bit over half-way through ME1. I had seen all the brouhaha over the "nudity" in ME1 from the media and so my attention was initially drawn to Ashley and Liara; I chatted with Tali like I did with all my team members while doing the rounds on the Normandy. That's how it started. Slowly yet surely I began to appreciate Tali's intelligence and outlook on life, her background and the trials and tribulations it brought with it, and her charming/cute self-conscious mannerisms won me over. I rued the fact that no matter how many times I went back to Engineering in the hopes of triggering new conversation options none were forthcoming after a certain point. I know we half-jest about this at times, yet I am entirely serious when I say that I would like..nay, that I want a girl/woman like Tali in my real life. I shall be on the lookout.

Hehehe! I'm sure your fiancee will appreciate that.
I just got up about 45 minutes ago, so no new music yet. I did start putting some opening sequences together in my mind when I was half awake and half asleep around 5:00 - 5:30 CET though. Might begin cobbling that together. Still, I have a personal rule that I try not to have any composition sound too similar to a previous one.
Not good enough. you are one of the accept Tali thread artists and we expect results, dammit! Btw, where does CET apply?

give me a day or two and I will get a rough draft up..... I kind of intend to have connect me 1 and 2 with how the feelings for shep developed....kind of show a tragic side to him and how he felt abandon by his team since he returned to life and how Tali's voice was the first thing he thought of when dieing and waking....
Any good lines from ME 1 from tali that would fit that.

You can't love a certain part of Tali, you either love everything about her, or you don't love her at all. :innocent:
Your answer is inadequate! To the back of the class with you!!

After her loyalty mission. Keep in mind I hadn't played ME1 in about 3 years, so I didn't have much to go off of, though I did remember her, when I first saw her on Freedom's Progress. The loyalty mission pretty much did it for me, it showed so much. How lovely she truley is.

On that FF, though I have only read the first chapter, I was wonder what caused you to use the 2nd point of view seeing as it is usually very difficult and most authors dont use it.

For me it was the surprise that she was coming back and me remembering how disappointed she wasn't a romance in ME 1

It was the same for me. just writing about Tali makes you feel that little bit closer to the world she inhabits and it's been one of the most rewarding things I've done in a long time.
Speaking of which! The two ME novels I ordered off of Amazon may arrive today! *crosses fingers* That would grant me yet another avenue of procrastination from packing up my current home.

I don't think so. As the Bard (aka. Shakespeare) once said/wrote, "This above all else: To thine own self be true". Sound advice, IMO.
