I couldn't care less for Ashley... honestly.

 I didn't like the confrontation on Horizon either, but i can understand it if Bioware did it to have the virmire survivor play a larger roll in 3.

I used to feel exactly like you do but, I think my anger was misplaced before. I absolutely adored Ash in Me1
but then seeing her on Horizon angered me to no end. Its what drove me to

I'm beginning to think that
Ash's love story arc might actually be really good, if not the best. Partially because it
was able to cause that much emotion (anger in this case) in me in 2. I really kind of understand  shepard when he goes, "I've had enough of this colony." on Horizon. I can only imagine the amount of utter joy I would feel in 3 if Ash and my Shep patches things up and she came back as a squad mate.

This is on a different character of course. The one that romanced tali, will always be with tali.

I dunno, just venting I guess. And if you don't like Ashley at all, thats fine with me obviously, its all just a matter of taste. The only character so far I've disliked was SuZe though.

 

Don't  me wrong I like Ashley alot, that confrontation on Hozion pissed me off as well,  I totaly agree with Shepherd when he said that... still I like closer and My Shepherd has moved on...I really don;t want to have to go back reopen old wounds again... Something are just not meant to be and its best to move... Sadly Ashley and Shepherd lead two  different lives now ...I can't see them getting back together.

I like the one who didnt experience the last two years is the one who's moved on and the one who thought you were dead for two years hasnt.

She did actually move on but seeing the person you love again has come back and saved your life, tends to umm... create mixed emotions. Especially since she had moved on.

Always first, my friend. But when you bring up the weapon wheel, sometimes the first person you choose is on the left, sometimes the right, so I think it might be random.

She's always first in my squad, though. I started putting in 2nd because you have to bring that one person for each loyalty mission, so that she would be in the same spot on the wheel, but it switched every once in awhile no matter which order I added them. Kinda weird, anyways if you reach down and save her, she's not the first person you pull out of the rubble right after that, so it's sort of a lose/lose situation.

I always pick her first in ME2 as well as in ME1, first always seems too  get the best dialog.

this made me lol hard. Typically fanfics have ratings, I suggest reading those ratings before reading the fanfic.

That's right. I bought it but never did see it around the ship. Hmm. Maybe I should pay closer attention to the cabin bed? Then again, I also didn't see the two ME novels I purchased in the game show up. Perhaps they merely show up as entries in your Codex.

Mark Meer won me over with that very line. Idk why...just the way he said it, he sort of cracks up when saying "colony" and I really believed he was emotionally disturbed.

You are right though, how can any LI compare to Tali and Garrus who have been there throughout? I think Ashley/Kaiden + Liara is a must in ME3...will be very interesting..I need to play ME2 with one f my characters that actually had a LI in ME1.

i know it would be very ambitious, but what i really hope they do is have the main premise of ME3 be to rally the forces of the galaxy against the reapers, and then in the final climactic battle, you have to make some really tough decisions, potentially sacrificing millions of lives and the entirety of a race's military power, and depending on who shepard supports the greatest will decide which of several ultimate endings you get. perahps each, or several of them revolving around which race you support the strongest.
i, for one, would love to see an end to the series centering around the quarians rising back to their rightful place of respect within the galaxy. and tali of course. plenty of tali.

Have faith. BioWare is at the helm. They haven't let me down yet in terms of an actual game and its contents (DRM is another matter, but that's over for now thankfully). I have no empirical proof other than to point at all the grand games that BioWare have developed over the past decade and a half, or there about, yet it emboldens me to the point that I'm prepared to go out on a limb with the prediction that ME3 is going to be truly epic in scope. I think we are going to get the best damn game BioWare has developed to date, even surpassing ME2. Our gaming worlds are going to be rocked down to their very foundations and the skies will part and the trumpeting calls of angels will be heard.

Tali had no reason to trust any but Jeff, Garrus, Chakwas, and Shepard. Jacob comment could have waited for less sensitive moment than debrief. Mention AI on ship to a QUARIAN? Bad planning.

I feel the same way. Tali is still special in a way that none of the other ME LI have been for me, but I adored Ashley. There are still roots there waiting to sprout siblings again. However, I'm sticking with Tali with my current Shepard, or more likely I will engage in judicious usage of saves throughout ME3 and jump back and forth to test the different outcomes.

Fair enough, but as an Alliance soldier for years before joining a pro-human organization, he probably jsut couldn't empathize with her. At least all she gave him was a creepy glare though, Jack reacted way worse to Cerberus.
