After watching Kal'Reegar few times again, it seems more obvious to me, that he is not granting her with such love as Tali loves Shepard. He is more interested in making her life secure, more like an older brother's love. Also he was in her team in Tali recruit mission. He spoken of her like a loyal soldier, not like a lover.Huacaya wrote...

Hey, have you heard all the engineers talking's between NPC only? There may be few cool things said about Tali in it. Actually I only saw the male speaking of Tali's looks. He also mentioned
