825 pages? Good lord. Anyway poking my head to say that chapter 2 of The Tali Effect is up at ff.net (or will be) Tali makes it home to the migrant fleet but her departre leaves Shepard feeling down.

Likely referance to enviromental suits. more than likely soft like us. either way would still hit that.

I don't think it will necessarily be less soft, rather more stiff. If you pull on the skin thats on the top of your hand, it's "stretches". I believe that Quarians would be able to do this, but in a lesser way. Almost as if the skin is a bit tighter on the body, but not harder.
