???what procedure???

Oh I know what he's talking about. Theres some kind of Immuno-Booster advertized on Illium that promotes permanent immune system boosting, but with a 40% success rate. I assume the 60% remaining means harm or death, I would never risk 40% with Tali, not even 95%

What about 99.9%? I mean she did risk his shirt in her suit (wink wink at your FF)

:P Good. Now let's put up a conversation. Iclonic wrote:

So...We all know that the Sun that Tali and her fellow companions were
researching is going to be important in ME3. Anybody have any theories
or ideas as to why the Sun is dieing so quickly? Do you guys think the
Reapers or Collectors are involved? Do you think it's something even
worse then those two?

I remember this strand of information: "The Sun is dieing, only it's not..."

What a mystery....

Another
topic of concern for the Quarians is the standing issue of whether or
not they should Attack the Geth on their Homeworld, Or colonize a new
planet....

Well Humanity has settled in colonies in the Termenius expanse, far from the safety of the local cluster.
And all of them seem to work out Just Fine I say go for it, colonize some places.

Sometimes i just think the quarians need to stop trying to grow a quad and just settle on another world and try to grow a new immune system there.

Or just make peace with the geth.

I'm pretty much thinking that it's going to be up to us as to whether they go to war or make peace. In Tali's confrontation with Legion, you can clearly see that she is more favorable toward war (plus whatwith her father's research and Han'Gerrel's support of Tali). Yet, at the same time, she seems to be one of the few Quarians that is open to reason. I worry about Daro'Xen's motives, however...

If you guys were listening closer in talis recruitment mission and her loalty mission there saying something about black matter making the sun die faster and produce more radiation

Sorry for the multiquote.

But I think that Tali wants to get back home, but disagrees with her father in his way of "going back home".

She called Xen "crazy", and respected Legion in some way. Legion's loyalty quest with Tali is quite interesting. Hell, she shares quarian information (non-classified, but quarian in the end) with Legion! (at least MY Tali).

If peace is possible for quarians and geth, I think Tali will choose that over domination or war.

hmm. .. risking Tali. . I don't much like the sound of that. Then again, taking her into battle is a risk each time, but. . wouldn't it be her choice? to do the procedure on illium?

Nope, I would rather have her immune system become used to me naturally. There is almost no risk that way, and if anything did happen, it would be minor.

EDIT: Lol at my FF reference there. That was natural though, that is Shepard's germs, not some meds that get it done in a day.

Actually like she stated, the most inimate thing they can do with another Quarian is link their suit environments. They adapt to eachother. With Shepard, when she is with him, she gets used to his presence with the proper use of immuno-boosters and herbal supplements. Should be no problems at that point. :)

Yes, but as Raoul says, and tali too, they "adjust".

Might I add that Tali says that this could take from 60 to 600 years Image IPB, depending on planet?

I might be double posting, no matter.

But its strange, at the console in the Alerei she says it could take 60 to 600 years for quarians to adapt to a different enviroment, yet her Aunt 'Raan says it took her a week to adjust.

Might this be because quarians are not "Alien" to eachother?

But the first intial reaction is the baseline to compare.  Everything that she got after being with shep will only get better from then on...meaning it won't be as bad the next time.

Wow, people hate Tali, I mean I can just feel the loathing. ;) Anyway, this is my second post here, want to make a good impression. So, here are some comics related to Tali that I drew. Note, two of them were thought up by other people, and I just comic-ized them. Credit goes to whoever originally wrote them.

So, given her health risks, would you be content to spend your life with Tali knowing that you could only know intimacy with her maybe once a year or so?

I would, no question.

I think it has something to od with quarians being very sterile in their own suit. So linking would be like linking two sterile rooms together. Shepard on the other hand..is not sterile at all

Correct, it's easier for them to adapt to eachother because they have the same genetic makeup. However I believe when it says it could take 60 to 600 years they are speaking of a planet, not a sterile environment with an alien individual. Like said, with the right medical treatment and natural exposure, it shouldn't take long at all, and no problems should arise.

There is another advertisement on Illium about a product recall of some medical radiation equipment.
Something from Elkoss Combine if I remember correctly and you either get a full refund or recieve a "brand new deadly radiation weapon" as compensation.

I allways got the feeling that it might be related to the anti-suit procedure, but even if its not I think i will pass on experimental medicine advertised on Illium ;)

Tali herself admitted that she is no biologist.  She could be wrong.  I am betting she is, even if she heard it from scientists 'in the know', THEY could be wrong.  How many times have you heard that cholesterol was bad for us?  Then good; then bad?  Now there are 'good' and 'bad' cholesterols.

I have to believe that their morale is low and so they paint a bleaker picture than what is truth.  The truth is closer to a range and with techology the way it is, I cannot believe (hope it is not) that awful.

Love for Tali!<3
