They haven't taken this thread down yet because half the people in here are secretly Bioware devs posting under anonymous accounts.
Well, that'd at least take care of all our concerns. If so many BioWare devs were as addicted to Tali as we are, she'd surely be a squadmate and romance option in ME3, and we could all sleep well tonight.
Yeah. Damn, worrying about Talis status in ME3 will keep me worried the next weeks or months. I hope some gaming site with an upcoming interview will notice and ask the right questions. But they normally are pretty oblivious and ask any kind of other stuff but the questions which are on the minds of fans.
Oh, well. Anyone know of a post-mortem coming up on any website for ME2?

I thought us over in the Thane groups and the Kaidan/Ashley /Laira groups get very overzealous. Idk, personally, I love seeing such enthusiasm.
For your sakes,I hope we get to see Tali's face in ME3

Or he could just stay and talk, boosting the post count even further, to make it even more obvious that Tali HAS to come back.

I've seen bits of discussion here and there on the whole Dextro-DNA thing, and for the most part I think the chirality issue is understood (least I hope so).
I thought I would throw a little bit more out there though, at least regarding that of whether or not Tali and Shepard are biologically capable of producing offspring. Short answer, from what I know now, is no. I had a talk with my old biology teacher, who is a good friend and has had a PhD in this for a long ass time. In short, she said that yes, it is not possible for these two types of DNA to successfully produce offspring. However, the incompatibility goes only as far as what the body will recognize the foreign DNA as. What I mean by this is that whilst the two different strands of DNA are not able to 'hook up' and produce a viable offspring, no harm will come to either person involved in terms of disease or any side effects. The likely scenario is that basically, Tali's system would see Shepard's DNA as nothing more than a waste product of sorts, or at least something that just needs a ticket out of the body along with the rest of the body's waste products.
Just trying to keep it uncomplicated here, but that statement is more 'preliminary' results than anything. I'm interested about these differences in DNA that the whole Quarian/Human thing is bringing to light so I hope to find more info on it myself, in between my actual studying of it for lass.![]()
But if anyone wants any clarification or something, go ahead and ask. I know this has been talked about a lot lately, but look how many pages there are! Probably added 3 more as I typed this out!
Keelah Se'lai! Go Tali!
Hey Hader, just wanted to say thanks for going out of your way to post more info about this Topic. It's always something that facinated me, though I have no strong suit for Science. I always pay attention to the posts that go in depth on the subject of the differences in Amino Acids, DNA chains, so on and so forth. I enjoy it because it really helps me better understand just how much Trust and Effort Tali is putting into being with Shepard, and how much love, patience, and understanding Shepard must have to be able to wait and not feel frustrated at the long periods of time both he and Tali would have to wait before they could be intimate again. Judging from the Easter Egg conversation in the New Game+ it seems Tali only comes down with a touch of the Flu from making Love to Shepard, so no worries that it was fatal or anything of the sort. That does bring me to a question though. Tali mentions, during her initial Romantic Conversation with Shepard, that the Act of linking one's Suit to another entails trust, because the Quarian in question is risking either a mild sickness or worse to be closer to said person; however, after a time, the Quarian would build up a resistance to the other Quarian's native bactieria and it would not be a hazard for them to be together in the same clean room suit-less. My question then is this: If Tali and Shepard continue to be together sexualy, would Tali eventually become resistant to Shepard's Bacteria, there by allowing them to be together more often without her coming down with any kind of Illness? Thanks in advance if you look this up.

Thank you BioWare for all the amazing characters you've created in the past, and here's to all the old favorites (like Tali!) that will hopefully return in future games!
Oh, and I guess you can come up with some new squad mates as well...
BUT TALI BETTER BE ONE OF THEM!

This is really outstanding Work. I love the Art-style. And yes, much better than all the overly *hawt* pics. I mean, so of them are ok, but I much prefer work that highlights just how Cool AND Sexy Tali Zorah is. Honestly, I would love to see a Short comic with this Artstyle. Maybe something with her and Shepard on a N7 Mission.
P.S. Do you have a DeviantArt page or anything?

The fact that this thread, and all of the other group threads, are so popular is a testament to the talent at BioWare. To be able to create characters of different species, races, and gender, and make it so easy for the player to genuinely care about them is remarkable.

I'm not completely sure on that one. Conceptually, it seems quite plausible that her immune system would eventually become more and more used to Shepard in that way. However, Shepard is still human, there may or may not be some hurdles that can't really be overcome by her immune system. I'm not really sure, as the only real knowledge I have of the Quarian immune system and all is from what I have heard Tali say ingame, and I don't have that all memorized. The best I can say now is that what you think is a likely outcome, but not 100% certain in either drection. I'd have to look into it some more. I'm still delving into a lot of this myself, in between playing ME2 and other work I have.
