have returned. Playing infiltator on hardcore just started tali romance again. Always funny to call her out on blushing.

I swear the only thing keeping me starting new games is Tali. It's like I get excited for a Tali scene and once it's over I think about the next one.

Exactly the same for me. Meeting the biotic god (not me, the other one) with her was very cute, I reloaded that 2-3 times earlier today to see all the options.

Or you could be like me, play on PC and hack it so that you start with Tali as soon as you get the Normandy

Thanks for showing us that. Your Shep's ugly, though.

So, if BioWare let Tali die in ME3 because we romanced her, and she gets sick...

How long do you think it would take until someone burnt their HQ to the ground?

I don't know why people think that's a possibility. She got a cold or whatever - she's fine.

That said: no burning would take place. We'd just hate them all forever.

I was more joking than anything, I don't think they'd do that either.
Or else, they could have let Garrus actually die when the Gunship shoots him, if you don't stab the repair guy in the back.

I figured you were, don't worry. But oh goodness, that would've been terrible! Don't kill Batma-......Garrus! XD Seriously though, that would be terrible. Something I do worry about is the possibility of him dying in 3, regardless of character decisions. I don't think it's likely... just remotely possible.

Remotely possible... unlike Tali not being in there and not playing an awesome part. :P

Garru is unstoppable. It'll take more than a rocket to the face and geting riddled with bullets to keep him down. Although I was pretty scared when he was not moving on the floor with a pool of blood beneath him.

Interesting point to bring up:

If anyone has noticed, in the final conversation with Tali about her interest in you (considering you have told her you are interested as well, and for clarification, this is the one where she asks "are you still interested?"), I noticed that you are given two options with a strange placement on the wheel. The "Paragon" option is the one where you apparently tell her "it isn't safe, we shouldn't do this". The Neutral (though perhaps Renegade? considering how the middle one always leans to whatever the second option doesn't in various other dialogue sequences in the game) is the one where you tell her "I want this...but I'm willing to wait". Choosing the 'Paragon' option is like telling her to back off, but they play it off as it is Shepard thinking of what's best for her health. The second one helps consummate their love, but the placement of this option as the more "Renegade" of the two is...interesting, to say the least.

Noticed this. Similar in nature to Garrus romance choices all in renegade catagory. Never attempted it myself, saw on Youtube, preferred Thane for Female Shepard.

I wondered the same thing. But they can't make that have heavy repercussions in ME3. That'd be worse than anything else they could throw at us.
Perhaps it's really just because we're giving her a cold, and colds aren't so awesome, so they didn't consider it Paragon enough to get the top right.

It might be...some people were putting her name forward for Admiral remember? This might be critical in getting the fleet's support for the war.

Tali already said she would refuse something like that to stay with Shepard.

hell yeah

someone needs to tease the commadner about his LI, like Joker or Jack

actually I think we need more jack nicknames for everyojne, not just miranda

On that note, I think Garrus was a lot cooler in 2. I liked his character enough in 1... but he really became a favorite for me because of 2.

And to stay on Tali-topic: though she was really awesome and one of my favorite characters in 1, I definitely think she got even more awesome and really came into her own in 2. ^__^

Ah but look at it the other way arround. She assumes he would not want to follow her this might not be the case as she never asks.

muwhahahaa I start with Legion too. Very cool some of the commentary they both come up with on the Jack, Mordin, Garrus, and Grunt recruitment missions. Tali has some nice stuff to say on the first collector encounter on Horizon too and even Ash will say "What Tali is with you too?"

It was a strange thing to me that the options were placed like that is all. Looking at it, I see two possible reasons:

1) This is their way of subtly hinting that basically, sleeping with Tali will kill her or severely harm her, for obvious reasons. Hence it is more 'Renegade' to romance her completely.

2) It is meant to fool you into thinking that she will die and that you have to be the paragon and think of her health first and foremost.

The only thing that completely goes against these 2 things though is the fact that in the end, she just gets a minor allergic reaction. So I guess it would be safe to say that this was Bioware's small attempt at trying to make people believe (at least for the first time through, first experience deal) that romancing Tali would be disastrous to her health, and that it would be 'best' to save her health over consummating their love. But now, we all know better :P

Funny thing is I thought of her as merly being an information vehicle in ME1 about Quarians. I though she was much too young to be an LI (at the time). I never expected to see her again.

Same here I just went through it all with a single LI then after beating it i dumped Jacob and played with the other LI's. You get to watch all the scenes in a single game if you do that. Just save it before you dump your first choice LI
