I'm not actually opposed to this being drawn or shown on deviantart or whatnot. I'm opposed to it being posted on a public forum where it may or may not break the rules at a time when every Tali discussion beyond this one has people calling us weird,

The artist has good intentions, I'm sure. But going from saying dem hips to semi-porn? That is a leap.

Still working on my second play through and I got a question. Has anyone romanced Kelly and Tali? If so does it mess up being able to invite Tali up to your room.

I've heard that it Kelly doesn't count as an romance per se, and you can still pursue one of your squad mates as a romance, but there's only 1 intercom in Shepard's quarters. I would check it myself but Kelly died on my first play through. I don't wanna risk screwing up my Tali invite, but im curious to see what happens if you romance her and she lives.



Also, anyone think that romance with Kelly will effect ME3?

See my previous post. I don't give a wooden nickel what others in this forum think of me regarding Tali to be frank, and I most certainly will not live my life - even if it is only one part of it (the part spent in this forum) - wondering and worrying about meeting their expectations. To put it very bluntly, "**** them". If that's how it's going to be then it needs to be a two way street (i.e. they would have to meet my expecations in turn).

I find it in the area of tasteful nudity. It is not explicit, it is not crass, vulgar or gross. It's no more pornographic then what you see in vogue since it has the censor bars. *I would have given bonus points if they were made to look like sticky notes.* Alien sideboob ftw.

I mean, Ranged Weapon's cg's make this look tame.

Of course. But if physical appearance was the only or principal drive in our attractions, than I am sure the buxom Miranda would do, especially seeing as she also human, which fills our biological imperative to mate with our own species. Our attraction for Tali however, should transcend simple appearance, the very fact that we like her despite not seeing her potentially hideous face should have been telling.

I feel bad just quoting this picture. Seriously dude, what the ****? This is wromg on like four  levels:
1- Perversion of why Tali rocks.
2- Is probably against the rules.
3- Gives ammunition to the, "Talifans are creepy": group.
4- Is in poor taste.

1) This pic, and others, will only have as much impact on you as you allow it/them to have - especially in light of the fact that in so far as we know this is not canon. Tali may be a sweet thing but she is hardly naive. Placing her on an unreachable pedastal in a glass house is bound to be unhealthy both for her and the admirer.

2) Hmm. Not sure. Could be, but it doesn't actually show the more explicit things. Besides, if we follow that course what about images depicting violence even if in a cartoony manner? 

3) Really? Speaking just for myself I could care less what those people think of me or my feelings for/views on Tali. I don't owe them anything, least of all an explanation nor a justification. Live your life and dare to be your own person in so far as possible. After all, you can't live your life for someone else - it's bound to end in misery at some point.

4) I disagree.

1- I don't mind sexy Tali. I don't mind suggestive Tali. I don't mind anything but porn Tali.
2- When not sure about something, check or at least show some apprehension. My issue is that not only may this break the rules, but it was broken nonchalantly for no reason.
3- It isn't about those people who call us weird. It is about how a third party, otherwise neutral, is biased against us. It is why topics pop up against Tali or why generally, outside this topic, Talitopics are either kept sane as they stick to the game or can get abit insane. Their opinion of us may not matter personally, but it does impact your forum experience- one way or another,
4- We'll agree to disagree.

Agreed, Tali is our favourite, but the fan-art showing her in too far sexual situations or in kind of some hardcore deviation violates the cuteness of her. So if someone wants to see such things he may search for it himself, it's not hard to do, especially with so much fan groups, lovers, or haters of Tali. The border between nice visual art adn pure deviation isn't hard to cross when you are maing a fan-art.

Here's the issue. You can easily find sexually suggestive or revealing pictures of Tali on the internet. The thread isn't about nudity, it is about Tali's character.

Having sexual images in this thread is only making the thread more likely to be closed, and our critics to be declare ourselves as increasingly creepy. The former, at least, may draw some concern from you. If you want sexually explicit images, just go on the internet, it's not very hard. But it doesn't belong here, and it is already causing a rift among posters.
