That speech he gives to Legion and Tali is just wrong.

Agreed. That scene may quite well have put me off ever even half-seriously contemplating playing as a Renegade character again (not to mention that I'm a big soft-hearted Paragon by nature).

Both Thane and garrus are cool fem shepard romance...if only i can get over the freaking voice she sounds like she is smoking 10 pack of cigarettes a day...plus she always has the wrong intonation when she talks

On topic though, I agree. Being a Renegade in ME1 was about getting the job done, but being a Renegade in ME2 makes you out to be a totally unfeeling, uncaring, inhuman creature, not worthy of loyalty or friendship.

Still, some of the Renegade interrupts in ME2 are good, like the Krogan head-butt, and shoving the merc out the window.

The Paragon interrupts - and for that matter speeches - are infinitely better though. No denying it.

Yeah I'm with K-Fed on this one. There's some things I just couldn't do, not to mention I'm paragon-leaning in my views by nature anyway

Hmm. Speaking of love interests, Tali aside, and Samara as an item of desire aside (Miranda fits there too though less so for me), I find Kelly quite sympathetic. She seems like she would be a very nice woman to date in real life and she actually seems like a real enough person that finding someone like her isn't out of the question.

Ooi! Combat rations and dog tacks. Nothing like crushing a packet of dog tacks, mushing half a can of sardines and adding a cap of water from your bottle to make the whole mess edible.

Aye, though our rations were better than that though (no sardines). Still, when you find yourself drinking the cold leftover boiled water from the still half-raw "boiled" potatoes and eating raw carrots with a healthy application of margarine paste simply to stock up on calories before the next wave of exercises sets in, you begin to realise you may be entering previously uncharted personal territory.
