I wasn't a particularly big Tali fan in Mass1, she was okay, but she was more like a Codex entry with ample hips, a perky bussom, and a sexy voice. (Not that CodexGuy is a slacker!)

In Mass2, her characterization really did come out. It was a little teary eyed moment when she revealed her feelings for Shepard that had been brooding since mass1. I think I could relate to the "Shock" of that situation that it seems Shepard is meant to be hit by. Easily the best Romance of the Mass series so far. The rest come off as "Blowing off steam" situations. 

No part of me has any Doubt that we will see Tali in Mass3, Relationships in Both 1 and 2 are supposed to carry over to 3, and 3 being the end of the Reaper trilogy, and with probably a blank-check backing it because of it's critical and public acclaim, it's fairly safe to say (Developer's sanity willing) Mass3 is going to go "All the way".

A little off topic, but I hope Morinth is a bigger character (Assuming you had high enough persuasion ability) since as far as a character, Morith beat down Samara, especially given how brief your time with Morinth is.

Well stated and I agree, except for the bit about Samara. True, I didn't spend much time with Morinth apart from Samara's loyalty mission (delicious voice work from both ladies, IMO). Bring Morinth/Samara back in ME3 and make them love interests by all means!

You can definitely romance (at your own risk) Morinth after you complete the Suicide Mission. 

That's true; sadly Samara turns you down though she is tempted!

I just listened to the Casey Hudson interview in the Bombcast, and he basically said the Tali romance was basically a product of fan wishes after the first game (Garrus's too) So fans DO make a difference!

I am just glad that they didn't do a half-way job of it and just cop out and gave us the usual stuff that pass for romance "boobs and nooks" along with a 15 second cutscene that essentially say "sex! whoohoo!" 

IF the devs are reading this thread, and at this point I am less then hopeful, consider this, Tali's romance is very likely the most well received, followed by Jacks and then Miranda's. I am not saying that Miranda's romance is bad, but compared to the other 2 all it had was skin which mind you, served it well.  Jack's romance came very close in terms of emotional impact but again Tali's romance beat Jack's out simply because in my opinion, it felt closest to a real relationship. Miranda's was a little hollow, more sexual attraction then anything else, Jack's had emotional attachment but Tali had both emotional attachment and a relationship that had its roots based on friendship.  
So here's me poking at you devs with a sharp stick, you have set the bar for yourselves. Don't for the love of god fall back into the trap of just passing off skin, boobs and nookie as "romance".

I'm holding out too in regards to outright fanfic, though I'm tempted. Still, it has inspired me to compose several pieces of music in the mean time....I am very impressed by the fanfic I've read so far. One I just read by Moth was...chilling...in a way. It reminded me of myself.

Not everyone has talents in arts. But they compensate for it with other things.

Perhaps you should be kinder to yourself and give yourself a chance? Rome wasn't built in a day. ...And perhaps I should take my own advice to heart. I feel a novel or two resting somewhere inside of me and yet I seem to get bogged down by the details. I want to do it all on a grand, epic scale and invariably the fuse ends up burning much too quickly and the creative process implodes before it's hardly begun. I need to pace myself and focus, the way I do with the musical compositions. Perhaps I can learn from our fellow Tali fans here; chapters needn't be 20+ pages as I've come to expect of them from professionally selling novels and textbooks. Hm. Food for thought at any rate....

I´m not good either, but I had quite an Idea even if the execution is pretty poor so far
