It's actually very much up to BioWare if the movie will be good. As can be seen with Marvel, who in the last years have produced their own films, having control of your license or at least choosing wisely to whom you sell out the license is a good way to ensure that your intellectual property gets treated well.

Many publishers of fiction have been too lenient about this in the past, resulting in shoddy films which were an insult to the original work. As I said, Marvel Studios has taken the production of most of their films in their own hands, which improved quality drastically, Blizzard is taking a very active stance for their World of Warcraft film and if there is a Mass Effect film, I cannot see BioWare, who has some of the best writers and decision-makers in the gaming industry, let their intellectual property be slaughtered by a Uwe Boll type director.

Here's a horrid lil thought, what's worse then a Holywood botched movie of ME?



A series of Saturday morning "animated features" that has neither direction or content other then things getting blown up ending with the series getting canned mid 2nd season.

And oh ya, Tali gets the Valley Girl VO.

Just because there's an imdb page doesn't mean its going to happen. Hell, just because its planned doesn't mean it will ever get made. The Halo movie was probably the highest profile game movie planned for of its time and it got canned (and isn't going to be made after all).

Good point.  mind you, at least we got a good movie, District 9, out of that.  In the end though we, as Tali fans, will never accept something so basic as Tali NOT being the main LI.  We know that ain't going to happen...

 

That I am not quite sure, if the did make a movie she may very well be LI... I mean hell who saw Uhara and Spock being a couple in the new Star Trek coming.   

She my very well be the main LI in the movie...  Just saying don't count it out. 

Believe me mate, i rarely count things out.  I just don't count them 'in' very often.  Especially when they have a nice, beautiful human woman to shag.  Plus, I she wears a helmet.  No helmet wearing people in movies have happy endings.  Look at Darth Vader!

 

LOL thats a low blow there mate but  then again Vader dug his own grave by letting Sidous play him like a fiddle ... Come on Tali in  3D  revealing her face to the world on the big screen...
