Congratulations and well done. I couldn't be happier with Windows 7 ever since I switched from XP back in October 2009. Stable as a rock, looks good, has some neat new functions and works like a charm. Microsoft truly delivered with Windows 7.

Nope! Not since Norton Anti-Virus 2007 refused to work with XP. Dropped it like a bad habit and have been using non-subscription based anti-virus and firewall software that appear to have worked just as well.

Ugh. Stuff like this is why I stayed away from Forums for so long. You show any bit of affection torwards a Character based in a Fictional setting, and auto-matically you're a "Rape Fantasy" weirdo who Faps away to any picture of said Character. First, it's just stupid, second, it's insulting. Take Trekkies for instance. Now, I'm not a fan of that franchise, but I can respect the dedication some folks have for it. Now, there *are* some Trekkies who take thier enthusiasm to Extreme lengths, but not every person who likes the Star Trek Franchise are the same, and it would be outright Retarded to think so. Well, at least we have the most powerful server crashing Thread on the Forum, and all the crap they can think to say won't change that!

I haven't really been reading any Mass Effect fanfiction, let alone Tali romance fanfiction, but I've got to wonder what "rape fantasy" means. Did someone read one story of that nature and generalize? Or is the idea that just plain liking Tali is a rape fantasy for some reason?

I am thinking a salacious person or persons wrote an eros fanfiction along the lines of a clockwork orange or something similar. Then, another or quite possibly the same person spread it around that "This is what Talifans are doing/writing."

So, when do you think Tali fell for the Ccmmander? First thing he does is rescue her from a bunch of dudes, so do you think it was an immediate thing or did she have to know him for a bit? And did she have to get over him being an alien, or do you think that he looked similar enough to quarians that she was ok with it right away? Or did the fact that he was an alien actually add to his appeal for her, kinda like the whole "green skinned space babe" appeal for humans but in reverse?

I think there may have been an interest to start with, you know one of those "Hmm. He/she looks cute and seems nice. I wonder.....", etc. Then as time went by and events colluded to have them spend more time around each other in meaningful (and often life threatening) situations they developed history with one another, as well as greater knowledge of each other. I think somewhere along the halfway mark through ME1 Tali's early interest/crush began to develop in to something more.

Truth be told the first time I really experienced a "Wow!" moment over an Asari was when I first saw Samara.

Yeah, and I bet it had nothing to do with those... erm... freckles. Yeah, freckles...  :mellow::innocent:

It was her entire package. Samara's eyes, refined facial features, voice, figure (yes, also those two glorious mammary distractions), freckles and all. She just radiates sleek power and confidence without being overbearing. A woman like that could have me go weak at the knees just by smiling at me IRL. Possibly sad yet also true. Sure, I could resist but I wouldn't want to.

She's better looking than Liara, but the snake-like texture of her head tentacle things creeps me out a little.
