Utter rubbish. Twaddle even.

1) There is no proof that his implants are derived from Reaper technology.
2) The Flotilla is led by at least four admirals, if not more, along with a second council of more civilian members. These two bodies have managed to preserve and grow the Quarian fleet for over three centuries. They seem quite capable of continuing that trend with or without Tali. No doubt she is a valuable addition to her people but they have, can, and will make do without her if need be.
3) Shepard need not visit the void. The Reapers are coming to him (and the rest of the galaxy). Time to cook up some new fancy bombs of thef "blow-suns-up" scale.

Pardon me, sir...

In point 2 I believe the 'second council' you refer to is known as the Conclave.  You may continue...

Good man. Glad to see you've got my back.

Hey guys, I uploaded a small fanart sketch I've been working on.  I wanted to make Tali look alien yet still attractive and cute.  I'm not sure if I got the cute part, but you can judge for yourself.

http://ianperera.dev...ketch-154396594

Any comments would be appreciated.  I'll color it soon, and I think for my final project in my Digital Figure Modeling class, I'll be doing Tali.  I'll show you the results when I get to that point.

NOTE: I can't hotlink deviantart images, sorry.  If you really want the image in the board, then I'll host it on tinypic.

2 words: holy ****

*applause*

almost 1000 pages in less than 2 weeks all for a ME LI, don't think ive ever seen that much dedication for any original LI for an RPG character, ever.

keep it up guys, for real. I'd like to see Bio's official reaction to this. One thing's for sure though, Tali WILL be back for ME3, now because i think Bio wouldn't want riots in Edmonton, Canada :P

I am kind of behind the reaper technology keeping Shepard alive. I thought about it when Miranda was talking about the "fire that gets people to follow him into hell itself," then taking in account the similar effect Saren had with Sovereign. I don't think it is as powerful or destructive as Sovereigns indoctrination... but I would not be surprised if Shepard now has an added effect like that.

You know what, i never thought of that.  That's be a cool twist

Yeah, look at some of the people he has tamed. First one to mind is Jack. She wanted to split as soon as the suicide mission is over. As time goes on, I think she becomes much more commited. The next one is Grunt. Okeer failed in his imprint of Grunt. "his imprint didn't take." I believe is the wording. Very quickly it looks like Grunt becomes one of Shepard's most loyal.

It would be quite unnerving to find out that the people following you are 'loyal' but brainwashed.  He'd proabably say "And I thought I was such a good public speaker..."

Alright, I finally registered my copy so I can post and show my support.

I have been watching this thread grow since page one, and also took a look at the original thread on the last day it was... well, not locked. Also, I'd like to add I've read quite a bit of FF, and they're all really good.

And the weird thing about it is, the entire time. I felt as if I wasn't contributing to the love.

Now, let me just fit one of those Tali banners onto my sig... ahh, there we are. Now, onwards towards page 1000!

Jack has some stability for once in her life, I don't think its odd she wants to keep that.
Grunt has pledged himself to Shepard as his warmaster or what ever it was, in his own words, as long as Shepard keeps him fighting worthy bad guys, he wont kill Shepard. Don't sound like indoctrination to me.

Well, look at a reaper. It's massive, and it's powered by a mass effect core that can probably run a solar system. I don't think Shepard houses that much biological power in his body. He can't wave his hand and make people follow him, nor can he substantially alter who someone is or reduce them to a husk.

But hey, any way you slice it, it's just a theory... and I would not put it behind TIM to implement reaper tech.... and I think that's one of the only beings that could be capable of resurrecting the dead.

Ah, he's not so bad a sort once you talk him down to earth with Paragon tact. He goes on to establish a charity for orphans named after Shepard as his way of trying to make a positive difference in the galaxy. Good for him.

A Shepard charity?!!  What a wanker!

I never saw that!Image IPB

It's an intercomm announcement on Illium.  I got it immediately after finishing with Conrad and leaving Eternity.  'Conrad Verner has announced he is creating the Shepard Foundation, which will provide support for Alliance veterans.  Verner says it is his way of saying "thank you" to those who protect the galaxy.'

Not yet, I plan on adding that after I get her "hair" done.  Also, I wanted to scan it in, so that if I make any changes, I can go back to the scan image.

Communism as we know it. (Ie stupidity and dictator and corruption)

Thats not true communism. In a true communist state there would be no leader no currency. Essentialy a "communist" society is the model society on how to co-exist with others in complete harmony but human nature simply wont let that happen thats why we see "communist" dictatorships and such.

Enough on my political theories xD.

I noticed in the novel ascension the quarians run a slightly communist regime in the fact all people seem to share etc ala the trading decks on ships and all citizens are seemingly equal. Thoughts?

Do you think its because of the nature of the floatila and is a evolution of quarian society or do you think thats how it always was?

Shepard will leave Tali, but not for another woman..but on the mission, knowing full well he will perish and she would follow. But he goes where she cannot follow. Into death and into darkness. Goodbye Tali.

Tali must remain with her people, as a scion to lead them to a new home after the war.  She has been good to him, but as he is consumed by his Reaper implants, he must leave before even her light goes out in his eyes.  He has one last thing to do before his story ends.  One last visit before the void...

Harbringer.

I don't buy that theory for a minute. I'm putting it down to good, old fashioned charisma and leadership abilities. Shepard had it in spades in ME1 before he had any contact with Reaper tech, and TIM wanted the resurrected Shepard to be as neigh on similar to his old self as possible which would decrease any likelihood of Reaper tech being used (which in itself would presume Cerberus has access to Reaper tech - considering they didn't even have the specs for the Halix guns that the Turians designed in part from leftover Reaper tech from Sovereign it seems quite unlikely, IMO).

It's Battlemaster.
And my thoughts come from just watching some cues from Grunt accross multiple playthroughs with varying degrees of nice and dickish Shepards.

We only saw a brief moment after the suicide mission, so Jack might have left shortly after that, really hard to know, until ME 3 comes, or Bioware comes with information.

Grunt respects Shepard, for having wit, guts and being an exellent fighter. After letting Grunt out of the tank, he charges at you, after you have calmed him down, and says "good choice", you see Shepard pointing his pistol at Grunt's stomach. Thats when Grunt started to respect him, and like him. Also, if you do Grunt's loyalty mission, he respect you even more.

This is just a testament of Shepard's wit, his strength and so forth, as well as his leadership abilities. A strong leader draws strong followers.
