But hey, any way you slice it, it's just a theory... and I would not put it behind TIM to implement reaper tech.... and I think that's one of the only beings that could be capable of resurrecting the dead.

I don't put ANYTHING as 'too far' for TIM. I never trusted him and I never will. Am I the only one who remembers all the 'found horrible experiment, was Cerberus fault' side quests in ME1?

Hey guys, I uploaded a small fanart sketch I've been working on.  I wanted to make Tali look alien yet still attractive and cute.  I'm not sure if I got the cute part, but you can judge for yourself.

http://ianperera.dev...ketch-154396594

Any comments would be appreciated.  I'll color it soon, and I think for my final project in my Digital Figure Modeling class, I'll be doing Tali.  I'll show you the results when I get to that point.

NOTE: I can't hotlink deviantart images, sorry.  If you really want the image in the board, then I'll host it on tinypic.

The drawing itself is good, but if you have a graphic manipulation program, you could do a few easy tweaks to overcome the somehow weak pencil-ish feel of the scanning. I use GIMP, but I'm sure Photoshop has it too: it's the "curves" function (usually in the color menu). Find it and move the curve around, you'll get sharper lines and a better range of contrast.

Right. Thanks. I've never been a Krogan fan.

Shepard will leave Tali, but not for another woman..but on the mission, knowing full well he will perish and she would follow. But he goes where she cannot follow. Into death and into darkness. Goodbye Tali.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!Image IPB

Tali must remain with her people, as a scion to lead them to a new home after the war.  She has been good to him, but as he is consumed by his Reaper implants, he must leave before even her light goes out in his eyes.  He has one last thing to do before his story ends.  One last visit before the void...

Harbringer.

Utter rubbish. Twaddle even.

1) There is no proof that his implants are derived from Reaper technology.
2) The Flotilla is led by at least four admirals, if not more, along with a second council of more civilian members. These two bodies have managed to preserve and grow the Quarian fleet for over three centuries. They seem quite capable of continuing that trend with or without Tali. No doubt she is a valuable addition to her people but they have, can, and will make do without her if need be.
3) Shepard need not visit the void. The Reapers are coming to him (and the rest of the galaxy). Time to cook up some new fancy bombs of thef "blow-suns-up" scale.

I am kind of behind the reaper technology keeping Shepard alive. I thought about it when Miranda was talking about the "fire that gets people to follow him into hell itself," then taking in account the similar effect Saren had with Sovereign. I don't think it is as powerful or destructive as Sovereigns indoctrination... but I would not be surprised if Shepard now has an added effect like that.

I don't buy that theory for a minute. I'm putting it down to good, old fashioned charisma and leadership abilities. Shepard had it in spades in ME1 before he had any contact with Reaper tech, and TIM wanted the resurrected Shepard to be as neigh on similar to his old self as possible which would decrease any likelihood of Reaper tech being used (which in itself would presume Cerberus has access to Reaper tech - considering they didn't even have the specs for the Halix guns that the Turians designed in part from leftover Reaper tech from Sovereign it seems quite unlikely, IMO).

Lots of people were scrounging for Sovereign parts... And then there is the new novel that is coming or has come out already that interests me.  Someone from one of the previous books crosses TIM and to get back at the double crosser, TIM subjects him to experiments regarding reaper tech. That is one of the seeds that spawned my theory.

Communism as we know it. (Ie stupidity and dictator and corruption)

Thats not true communism. In a true communist state there would be no leader no currency. Essentialy a "communist" society is the model society on how to co-exist with others in complete harmony but human nature simply wont let that happen thats why we see "communist" dictatorships and such.

Enough on my political theories xD.

I noticed in the novel ascension the quarians run a slightly communist regime in the fact all people seem to share etc ala the trading decks on ships and all citizens are seemingly equal. Thoughts?

Do you think its because of the nature of the floatila and is a evolution of quarian society or do you think thats how it always was?

I've spent a little time onboard a real warship and the flotilla seemed to be a pretty accurate way of leadership on a naval vessel, albeit on a massive scale.  That said, I haven't read Ascension so I guessI can't really comment,

Greeting everyone
I am not a tali fan however your ...tenacity and love on this character is impressif.
I just wrote something about shepard x tali and I wanted your opinion on it.
I know it's short but I don't have much inspiration at the moment...perhaps later...

Unrequieted

When she was 22 years old, she was a selfish and proud woman.
Now that she think of it, she was more like a child ; angry because of the unfairness of the situation. But she was a greedy child. No matter how foolish, weak or unusual it was, she always got what she wanted.
However this time...was different.
Before she knew what was going on, she was confronting one enemy she could not simply defeated on the battleground : Love.
This is not need. This is not lust. This is pure simple love, and the actions that spawn from it are inevitable, uncontrollable.
Pure, untainted love
Something that could never be broken
A relationship based on trust, on faith
Not lust.
Something that should be cherished.
Pure innocence.
Born out of darkness.
She watched him. She watched commander Shepard. That was a different kind of passing thought. She wanted something she could not have. It was a natural thought, but a passing one. He was “out of her league.” He wouldn’t take a second look at her as anything more than a friend and an ally. His compliments were nothing more than the simple facts.
She wonder what hurt the most…
His ignorance of her feelings.
Or...
His cruel gentle and kind gesture toward her.
More than anything, she wanted to protect his strong will and vulnerable heart.
Even if it was beyond her skills, even if it has to be someone else role.
Yes
She would love and watch him from far away.
And hope it would be enough.
But in her heart she knew...it would never be enough for her.

As in everyting that exists.
I will say that no extremes are good.
A good proportion, just and equal, of everything makes the world go round.

Wellll, one of the quarians, Seeto I think was surprised that people would keep items they wern't using, if only because your living quarters would become so full you wouldn't have a place to lay down and sleep. Every family had a cubby of I think 12'x12' (including the captain) in which to live  keep personal items. So to answer your question, it was probably due to necessity, though quarians were probably very social creatures before the exodus from their homeworld.
