It is a shame that she wasn't fleshed out more in ME1, but having experienced her story in ME2, it was worth the wait. Even if she wasn't a LI, her story (Loyalty Mission) is one of the best I have experienced. Concerning the character, it is hard to believe anybody could dislike her personality, although I can understand not using her as often in ME1 for tactical reasons. I would want to see Tali's face, if possible without a suit even. The mystery is simply killing me.  And i would think it as a shame if Bioware didn't reveal it in ME 3, since it would be like an unfinished character for me.

Quite willing to wait for ME3. Would hate not to be able to see the face after all we been through (unforgivable). Now I sound like doc!
 
I used to joke about her in ME1 as looking like Cobra Commander now I eat my words and ask for seconds.

That would seem way to simple to kill something as advanced as the reapers, I'm sure one of the many past civilizations though of doing that, and yet they are all gone.
