lol, did keep him on one playthrough, killed ash thinking maybe then i could get tali.  but no

I kept him only once too. Even though I'm not an Ashley fan, and don't hate Kaidan, it just seems... more "right" to leave Kaidan on Virmire and pick Ashley up.
That's why women shouldn't be in the military. They'll get preferential treatment from softies.

The only reason I chose Kaiden over Ashley was to keep Carth alive. That and how xenophobic Ashley was. Other than that, he is annoying as hell.
