But the toggle button? No sorry but that's one thing I believe Bioware was right no to put back in. In a game supposed to be immersive you shouldn't be allowed to just remove your helmet and put it... Where? In you pocket? Shepard's armor doesn't even have pockets... Having the option to remove it on the Normandy would be enough.

There's nothing quite like a fully armoured bad-ass barking doom at a quivering Batarian.
However, I DO completely support the option to customize the game as you want to play it. And FORCING a player to always wear certain helmets is one of the laziest and counter-productive game designs I've seen in some time.
Honestly, it's like they handed the DLC armours to an intern to complete as an after thought.

Think about it that way: the weapons have that "fold" thing when they are on your back, we can imagine it's the same for helmets.
And... really... In every other games (included bioware's) where you have an inventory option, does it bother you that the 500kg pack you are supposed to carry with you is not visible?

I know I really want to remove the helmet sometimes on my DLC, but I think releasing the DLC armour in seperate pieces, ie shoulder pack, chest armour and head piece etc, is the closest we're going to get.

Those glowing bolted-on spitoons (scorn is for effect; I like the helmets, except for the Inferno) is one reason I don't use the DLC armors; I spent way too much time working on my Shepard's face to have it covered up. The hell of it is, they're the very reason I bought the CE version, pre-ordered, etc..

It looks like it's not going to change, which is disappointing... because I don't enjoy cut scenes in non combat environments with the helmet on. It sucks because some of the DLC helmets provide nice bonuses.... which I'll never get to use.
Very disappointing indeed but here's hoping they fix this for ME3.

I love this game, but I really miss the customization of the team that was in the first game.

Your the last call in this Bioware. But seriously, this would be fantastic. Sounds simple, but then again I didn't make the game.
