So, I just finished RTO and I noticed a chest labeled "mages chest" You need a key a key apparently, but I couldn't find one. any ideas where it might be? thanks!

It's the same chest that's there wen you visit Ostagar the first tme. If you got the key from the prisoner and used it back then, you can't open the chest when you return. It's a bit stupid, if you ask me. I mean, who refilled and locked the chest again? Oh, and in case you are wondering: You miss out on a unique mage staff.

Wow.. that is kind of stupid. Thanks for the help though I appreciate it. Now I won't have to spend hours wandering around an empty Ostagar looking for a non-existent key.
