Hello,
well i Installed the game yesterday (German collectors edition) and had to reinstall it because i had to format my pc. My problem now is i wasnt logged in with my Char while i lvled and got achievements.
Now i reinstalled and all of my achievements are gone but the savegames of my char are still there.
So is there someway to get all the things back or did i wasted aprox 20h of gaming?
Achievements gone?

I lost mine to when i reinstalled the game lost 72 hours and 20 achievements so i checked on forum and they say you need to find in Documents all Dragon age files and save them also any files that are hidden in app data.

yeah well i "found" that later too but now its to late anyways =) just restarted only ting i dont like is the "char page online" still tells me lvl 6 char and i got achievement "lvl 20 rogue" haha xD

Good to knoe perblinta...was not aware of this, just the saved game files...
Thankfully...only 'lost' the one which is easy enough to get back I guess

As far as I know the achievements are stored in the file called profile.dap in \\my docs\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings.
It may be wise to back up that once in a while to avoid such problems, yes... :-)

Happened the same thing to me, problem is I kept playing and unlocked some of the old achievements again and some new ones. I have my old profile.dap, but when I restored it after the reinstall I didn't get my achievements back.
Anyway, I don't care if I have to repeat some stuff to get my old achievements, but when I disabled a trap, for example, I unlocked the achievement for disable 25 traps (I already had it before de reinstall) but not the one for disabling 1. The same thing happened to the Persuasion and Intimidation Achievements, among others. Anyone knows if there's a way to get them? Or if a new character could unlock them?
