 Hi all, 

I was just wondering what was the most appropriate armor build for Vanguards.  I am working on my second play through and wanted some advice.  My first play through was a Sentinel. . .

I'd say Area Reave rather then getting armor. Barrier etc only works to recharge your shields or stack with your base shield. It does not stack on top of charge's shield bonus, so it's not really that useful to a vanguard. Check out the other vanguard threads here and watch the vid's. That should give you some useful information.

I meant in game armor, not powers but I do agree about the Reave. . .

Ah like that. I go with the headshot bonus, melee bonus, +5 weapon on arms(I think) or +shields depends on my mood, shield/health on both chest and legs. Also find that to be the best looking combo.

My first two playthroughs I went with a lot of shield boosting pieces with melee damage boosting shoulders. Both times were only on veteran though (I screwed up on the final mission with my crew members). I'm on my third and I'm experimenting on going for high weapon damage armor. I'm not playing at the moment so can't really list everything I have on though.
