Don't have Mass Effect 2 on this computer atm but what is Shepard's actual age? I mean because he was dead for two years does it mean he is two years older? Or does he technically remain the same age?

29 at the start of ME1. I put him/her at 31 or 32 during ME2. Age is calculated from d.o.b, not how long your body has been aging for.

29 in Mass Effect 1. So like 29 in Mass Effect 2, considering the Illusive Man rebuilt Shepard "exactly as he was before". He wouldn't be 31 as far as physical progression goes, but by d.o.b. then yes.

It should also be noted that it's 2183 (or whatever) and Humans now live until their 150 (a statement made by Ashley Williams in the first game). So Shepard is essentially like... 20. Not in maturity, in comparison to time left remaining.

When the Lazarus Project was completed, Shepard's body was pretty much exactly as it was when he died (ignoring cybernetic implants), so physically he's still 29, but technically he would probably be considered 31 years old by official record keeping.
