Morinth is very creepy in that scene. I like how they animated her smiles though, because they can still cause me to just shift a little in my seat.
Edit: That top one is the most disturbing image of ME2...but why no black eyes? I thought she always had black eyes there? o_o Or did you catch it just before they turn black?

They are black right before that screenshot. It shows her eyes as normal like that pic on top for a second before the bottom pic.AshiraShepard wrote...

They embrace and her eyes turn black and then she says "embrace eternity", then it shows Shep smiling with that biotic field around her/him, then her eyes go from black to normal, then Shep dies.

It's all the same, either way. The animations are copied-and-pasted between the characters. I thought it was a little out-of-character for Samara to walk away with such an apparent attitude, and then on my next playthrough, I chose Jack as the bubble-holder, and I realized what was going on.

Yeah they are the same except Jack comes across as a little bit of a smart ass when she is talking to Shep where Samara does not IMO. I know it's just Jack's nature and how she talks, but it still comes off that way to me.yorkj86 wrote...

Oh I know selecting Jack gets the same animations and all that, I just prefer to see Samara be the biotic badass.

Well certainly no one has to read my story, but I thought I'd mention Chapter 14 is up if anyone is interested.
