Agreed!  Hopefully Samara will get more
of the appreciation she deserves.  I hope
BioWare brings her back as a squad mate in Mass Effect 3.  It would be

Regarding the topic of romance, if Samara does become a potential
romance option I just hope BioWare does it tastefully and takes her
morals and values into consideration.  I think a Samara romance could be
done in Mass Effect 3.  It shouldn't come easy though; Shepard will
really have to work hard to get Samara to open up more and see that
there is still room for romance left in her life.  Samara still has centuries left to live and it wouldn't be completely far-fetched for her to continue to develop as a person and potentially change her mind about romantic relationships.

I feel it would be very interesting to see how
the romance would develop as Shepard tries to change Samara's mind because she clearly cares for Shepard as more than just a friend.  As strong, collected, and experienced as Samara is, I think she is scared to let a relationship develop between her and Shepard.  She has lived a solitary life for over 400 years and I can't blame her for not wanting to accept such a sudden lifestyle change with someone she hasn't known for a very long time. 

The relationship would have to develop slowly as Shepard and Samara get to know each other more and as Samara finds out more about herself.  A love scene towards the end of the game may or may not be involved.  I definitely wouldn't mind if there weren't a love scene, but it would be nice to see the two confirm the feelings they have for each other.  If there were a love scene I hope it will not be raunchy.  If I wanted to see sex and nudity I'd just watch porn.

Note:  This is just my opinion on the matter.  I want a Samara romance but I will not rage and become The Hulk if there isn't one in Mass Effect 3.  I would prefer no romance at all than a fling just about getting to a sex scene or some half-assed romance that does not take Samara's character into consideration.

Completely agree rx Nice to see someone agree. Yes my thought is that she wasn't ready for her life to change in that moment so quickly and I think she did have a certain fear.  It shouldn't be just some fling or something they rush into and I think it would have felt like that if it happened in ME2.  Which is why I think and hope  that they have set it up this way for possible emotional events in ME3 that could make her realize certain things.  

With that said yes if Bioware concludes that there is no romance or relationship between them than so be it. I will admit I would be disappointed but I certainly am not going to rant or rave if it doesn't happen.  But I just had to state this feeling that I had after playing. Glad to see you are as well

Thats awesome, great dedication and care for the character there. It will be quite interesting to see how that plays out for Renegades in ME3.

ME3, I want my squad to be a combo of Garrus, Liara, or Samara.

She is an interesting character. I also like how she can use an assault rifle effectively

Today I finished my second complete runthrough of the game, and this time I used Samara for the biotic field since she is my absolute favorite. This time, using her to do it, no one died. When Miranda did it on my first playthrough, Thane died. I was so excited I proceeded to tell my husband that Samara was my new favorite 'superhero', lol. Come on, you know you were thinking it. Flying through the air throwing people around with poise and grace. She's just incredible.

No.  She lets you down gently and tells you that the part of her life with romance is over.

I don't care. My soldier Shepard was turned down by Samara but he will not LI anyone else and hold on to hope for meeting up with her again in ME3.

Samara's intro scene is simply the best of all of the squad mate scenes. Hurling the Eclipse Lieutentant through the glass, then FLYING! (OMFG SHE FLIES!!!!) down to ultimately snap the beyotches neck with her mega-high-heeled boot. How awesome is that? EPIC!!!



Theres something about these Regal type characters that i'm drawn to. In every setting, a Regal Woman will always have my attention (See: Storm (X-Men), Polgara (David Eddings' Belgariad/Mallorean series), Mara of the Acoma (Raymond E Feist/Janny Wurts' Empire Series) for example)). (a cocky, near-arrogant man, who looks like he deserves his attitude will get just about the same). Samara is Regal, Poised, Devoted, Beautiful, and above all else she is Powerful.

Once i recruit her, she's never out of my squad.
