Based on my experience with other shooters, I'd probably play Soldier or Vanguard on XBox360, as I find it hard to snipe with a controller (yeah, I know: reflexes take a bit of a dive once you reach middle-age...

Actually, they made Sniping way to easy in ME 2 for the 360. They made it so the reticale doesn't move at all so headshots are very easy to pull of.

Yeah vanguard is great on the 360. You have fewer powers so you don't have to bring up the wheel as much (althouth I don't do that all that often with Adepts either) because you hot key the ones you use often in combat to the left and right bumpers.

hmm I'm starting to think that the whole idea of Morinth as a squadmate is a big intentional satire on the choices you can make. you gain pretty much nothing by having her. think about it, you're all of a sudden given this choice that is not even hinted at during the loyalty mission that you can recruit morinth. it challenges players to think rationally a little bit. you have a chance to gain the trust of a powerful ally in samara, but you can throw it all away if you want for no logical reason other than to satisfy your curiosity. so samara doesn't want to romance you, she rejects you. well you pick morinth, who not only desperately wants to romance you but she will kill you if you do. its a parody on choice, thats what I think.
EDIT: this rant is from a meta-gaming perspective
If you are renegade then Samara tells you that she will kill you if you meet her after the Suicide Mission. So the logical choice if you are Renegade is to keep the one who likes you (even if she secretly wants to kill you with Snoo Snoo). I don't see any reason why a paragon Shepard would choose Morinth though.
Side note: Morinth has higher health than Samara. Her health is equal to Jacob which makes her the third (including upgraded Shepard) most powerful squad member in game.

They may be able to color scheme the leather outfit and design to accomodate the neckband. What do you think?yorkj86 wrote...
I'm just so fond of Samara's golden neck-band and the collar of her default outfit. I'd love to see the neckband at least remain.JohnnyDollar wrote...

I think Samara would look good in the Asari commando leathers, if it was given some twist to make it distinctly Samara-like.

The Asari Commando armor already has a similar neck section to it. If they just cut it out, and color-coordinated the armor itself to Samara's neck-band, it would look awesome. Example, Shiala's Asari Commando armor:

Yeah it makes you wonder a little, but she has had children, so we would have to get past that somehow. The added biotic effects in ME2 are a nice touch over ME1.yorkj86 wrote...
Earlier, I had someone tell me that they thought Samara was an Ardat-Yakshi because of the way her biotics flare up right before she goes in for a kiss with Shepard. I guess they had seen the way Morinth kills Shepard if he snoo-snoos with her, and thought they were the same thing. I explained that she flares up her biotic corona all the time, and that the "energy" doesn't look the same anyway, but it did make me stop and think.

I guarantee you that there are some members in this forum that could do it. I just have no idea who exactly. I could change the shades a little with a simple program, but I am a rookie with that stuff.Kudara wrote...
I don't suppose anyones talented enough with a graphics program to do some recoloring on that? (Shiala's commando outfit picture) Mind you I have absolutely no idea how easy or hard that would be.

I guess I was wondering if you can go into the program and select a color and then replace it with another. For instance changing all the brown to silver.

Do you think she should keep the golden neck-band, or lose it, for the Asari Commando armor?

He/She said that her loyalty mission is about killing her daughter for killing others through sexual contact, which is something Samara can't engage in because of the code.
I told him/her that the code does not forbid sex and that this was her choice. I then asked him/her if he/she had exhausted all dialog with her, which he/she responded no.
I told him/her that he/she should immerse him/herself into the game and exhaust all dialog with her to better respect her.
I also recommended that he/she come post here, because some members here will give him/her a clinical rundown on the character and different views are welcome. He/she said that he/she might do that after this playthrough and exhausting all dialog.
Anybody want to go ahead and respond to this in case that member or someone else would like to read it?

Well another member mentioned that Samara's faith reminded him of religion, and an out of date religion at that. He didn't feel she was that deep of a character because he/she thought that the code was motivated by religion and compared it to Catholic Church celibacy.

Probably one of the sillier things I've heard on this forum. Did he realize that, expanding upon this, all laws and moral standards must be created simply because lawmakers are jealous of lawbreakers? It sounds almost like pseudo-Freudian rubbish to me.
Did you tell him that Samara states outright that The Code does not serve to bring about spiritual enlightenment?
EDIT: Added the "pseudo-Freudian" bit.

No I didn't think to tell him that. I said that the code does not forbid sex. I think most of Freud's theories are bs myself. The conversation didn't get that far. I forgot that she states the The Code does not serve to bring about spiritual enlightenment.yorkj86 wrote...
