I don't think the character was written with the idea of her code being anything other than 'Justice!,' and this lack of willingness to look at her character and ask questions on the part of the writers is what makes me dislike the character, as opposed to, say, Garrus, who definitely changes over the course of the story based off of what happens with Sidonis and such (admittedly, he isn't quite a fair comparison since Shep has so much more history with him).

From a writers perspective, what specifically would you have liked to have seen from the character concerning this?  Examples?

You know I had a theory that the SB was an organic that was indoctrinated by a Reaper(s). According to NICK though, the comics tell us otherwise. He said that Harbinger was trying to order the SB around concerning Shep's body, and the SB basically tells him that it will be delivered when sh/she says so, or something to that effect.

I can quote the conversation again if you want... just say the word.

Last page of Issue 1, Mass Effect: Redemption

Harbinger Possed Drone: THE DELAY IS UNACCEPTABLE, SHADOW BROKER!

Shadow Broker: And yet you will accept it -- unless you collectors know of another source that has Shepard's body. Shepard will be brought to a location of my own choosing. The transaction will take place there and nowhere else. Other players have entered the game. I must protect my sources and methods.

Harbinger Possesed Drone: QUICKLY, THEN. SUCCEED. (Drone unposses)

Shadow Broker: I always do -- I always do!

How do we like the combat system in ME2?

Personally I like some combat, but I don't like shooters because they are boring and they give me a headache. I still like a little action though. I liked Adept better in ME1 for the most part. In ME2, most of the biotic powers are slow reaching the enemy. That is one of the good things I like about Reave.

I still laugh at some of the exaggerated screams and squeals coming from the enemies in combat. In particular the trash talking and squealing from the Asari mercs kinda tickles me.

Discuss.....

I only play adepts and vanguards.... so I was a little sad about the speed of powers reaching targets.  I also was a little frustrated how adepts got dumbed down on harder difficulties.  I don't like that I'm forced to play an adept as a soldier on hardcore/insanity.  Vanguards... I like what they did with them.

As for the screams... I like when they get stuck in the enviroment (on a tree, ledge, box and etc) and you hear them screaming for like the entire fight.

I like both combat systems almost equally, ME1 is more Tactical but ME2 is more fluid and focused on intense action.

If i had my way ME2's combat system would stay for ME3 but incoporate more RPG elements into it.

I like to play mostlly Engineers and Sentinals in ME2.  I tried Vanguard a few times and never did get into it.  That is the only class that I don't have any saves of.  I use the squad powers ALL of the time.  The in your face style with the Vanguard reduces this IMO.  I really love the set that the Engineer has.  I have a hot looking FemShep for that class.^_^

Yeah ME3 should be a little larger IMO.  Keep the amount of combat we have, but add more RPG with more extensive dialog IMO.

I like ME2's combat system more, but I want the combat areas to be larger and more varied.  I don't want to walk in to an area filled with crates stacked waist-high and know immediately to take cover.  That's poor design.

In addition, I'd like for areas to be large enough so that I can attack from multiple positions.  Mordin's recruitment mission is a good example of this.  When you're heading to Mordin's clinic, and you're fighting your way through the Blue Suns, there are places where you can attack the enemy around the side, or sneak up to fire down on the enemy from a balcony, rendering their cover completely useless.  That's great.  Then, there are other missions, where the whole thing is just one long hallway, and manuevering and tactics amount to walking around a support beam or wall.

Lastly, I hate the curent heat-sink system.  The way it was originally designed for ME2, weapons still had unlimited ammo.  You could fire full-auto and eject the heat-sink clip to instantly cool down your weapon, or you could wait for the weapon to cool down for strategic firing.  Firing in controlled, aimed bursts wouldn't cause the weapon to heat up so fast that you would have to use either method to keep it cool.

I remember when an Asari merc used Reave on me during Kasumi's mission when her shields were down to keep herself alive.  She used it to regain some health.  That surprised me.  That's actual AI.  Why aren't changes like this being made retroactively, instead of being implemented incrementally from DLC to DLC?

Really.. I didn't know they had Reave.  I thought it was warp... but that is a really cool AI trick.

Yes definintly more dialogue, that is the most important aspect for me.

This is "Britanny" my Infiltrator. She has pretty close to the same face code as "Sasha" my Engineer. I like brunettes, but this particular hair style with the textures, doesn't give the hair justice. It looks too oily.

Definitely.  Despite everything that I typed earlier, I would take more dialogue and involved character interaction, even if it meant a copied-and-pasted version of the combat system from ME2 in ME3.

I don't know why but I make my adepts have sophisticated looks and vanguards edgy ones.

I have never done a female shepard, 4 males in ME1 and 6 in ME2.

Exactly, i honestly don't play the ME series for the gameplay, i play it for the Character interaction and awesome story, so i'd always rather they skimped on the gameplay instead of Dialogue/Story.

I always use Sheploo for male Shepard... he looks much better than any of the other character models.

For female I usualy go with a variation of the first character model (not the default).

Do you use your squadmate powers pretty liberally?  I see a lot of uploaded videos where the players hardly take advantage of their squadpowers.  They leave it totally up to the sqadmates themselves.  I have the squad power usage turned on in the settings, but they are not being maximized to their potential without me dictating it.
Oh yeah, all of my playthroughs right now are NG+

All the time (I have squad power usage turned off for that reason).  A Vanguard with lift field and area reave can be devistating when you have Miranda and Garrus(shielded opponents) or Samara and Thane (armor/barrier opponents) with you on Insanity.

Are we posting our Shepards?  If so, this is Commander Squinty, my Shepard.   His name is self-explanatory.
