Well I assume it is the Heretic Geth doing it.  This is something that would be intersting to delve into IMO.  Something about organics I would think. We had some issue on Haestrom too.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Come to think of it, what should Samara's "upgrade" be if she is to return to our squad. Is there some ability you guys want her to have, or do you think she is without weakness? Tbh I want her to have more unique biotic abilities, pull and throw are a little tame for one of the more powerful biotics in the galaxy. those are pretty standard for any biotic, granted Reave it pretty deadly. I honestly think Slam would have been more fitting for her. And she should definitely have some kind of biotic blast move. lol that might make her unrealistically strong, wonder how they would explain that.

I think she should have gotten singularity and throw.

Legion should become a full fledged Geth Prime. For me they are easy to take out, but are pretty formidable in any case.

Her throw should be more powerful, especially if there is a large window behind for her to toss someone into...lol

Reave is by far my favorite power. I can't really think of any other power that would work for her, but slam I guess would be the best.

...and small enough to still hang out with the crew.

Geth weather manipulation must be, if Legion is correct in stating he is the only non-heretic platform operating outside the Veil, something the Heretics were working on. Likely some kind of offensive weapon to render planets inhospitable to organics. Robots can operate in most non-corrosive atmospheres.

Right, but I assume that this is under the direction of the Reapers.  They are just tools for them anyway.  So why would the Reapers be wanting to do it?  Or do you disagree?

I'm stumped... all I know is that it give me a damage protection 3 ugrade after Horizon and lets me get the other upgrade so that Shepard's shields take 20% less damage.

How about the diembowler power?  Samara hits a merc with it, and the merc levitates and writhes in pain, and then his entrails come flying out of his mouth.:o

I agree, insofar as Herectics are manipulated by the Reapers. Climate manipulation would need to be relatively fast-acting to be used as a strategic weapon. If the Reapers can render a planet uninhabitable, they just have to wait until dug-in survivors die of starvation or suffocation. They seem to be only interested by certain species (i.e. humans in ME2), so any other are just pests that need to be eradicated to leave room for the next cycle. They can always terraform these planets back to habitability once the current "infestation" has been eradicated.

Good thoughts on your part.  It seems like though that climate manipulation- organic elimination-terraform is an awful lot of trouble to go through though.  Unless I am missing something here.  Why not release poisons or gases or something along those lines?

Also that one planet that the geth weather device is on presumably is uninhabited.  Is this research going on?  Surely the Reapers would have the research already available.  Why else would they do it on an uninhabited planet?

How do you guys like the way Samara executes the unjust in cutscenes? We see a variety of things like tossing someone into a wall, stepping on someone's neck, and a biotic punch to the skull. It seems for more important targets like Morinth she gets up close to finish them, and people that are in her way like Mercs she just tosses around lol.

I like how she uses biotics to throw people around like ragdolls.

an alternative to her loyalty mission should be when Shepard fails to seduce Morinth, she barges into Afterlife throwing everyone around saying "screw it I'll do it myself!! Morinth didn't I ground you from clubbing in 1765?" it would be a hell of a scene.

Yeah.. and you would have to help her fight everyone to catch Morinth (and you wouldn't fail the mission).
