an alternative to her loyalty mission should be when Shepard fails to seduce Morinth, she barges into Afterlife throwing everyone around saying "screw it I'll do it myself!! Morinth didn't I ground you from clubbing in 1765?" it would be a hell of a scene.

Yeah.. and you would have to help her fight everyone to catch Morinth (and you wouldn't fail the mission).

it could have been so much better. either you can somehow seals the door in afterlife and force a confrontation or chase her around Omega to where she finally is found in the plague area 0__0. and if you're too late she finds a ride outta town lol. would have been awesome.

And rather than getting a paragon interupt like Zaeed you get a renegade one and can say "we are going to loot first!"

or you say something like, "hold up Morinths gettin us some drinks..." and that would be you siding with Morinth lol as the renegade option

How do you guys like the way Samara executes the unjust in cutscenes? We see a variety of things like tossing someone into a wall, stepping on someone's neck, and a biotic punch to the skull. It seems for more important targets like Morinth she gets up close to finish them, and people that are in her way like Mercs she just tosses around lol.

Makes me glad I am not her target.

How did people fail Samara's loyalty mission, unless they intended to not have her loyalty?

Was someone seriously so lacking in social graces that they walked in to the conversation with Morinth asking about Justicars?

Shepard: "Hey, I saw you from across the room.  I'm here with Samara.  She's a Justicar.  She's here to kill you.  She's your mom, right?  I heard you don't like your mom.  I also heard you hate Justicars.  I know this one Justicar.  Her name is Samara.  She's your mom.  Did I mention that she's a Justicar?"

I did to try it once.... Morinth gets up and says... "You stay here and I'll go get us some drinks."

Very angry at you... she essentialy storms off (and it unloyal).  But honestly.... the only point is to see the scene play out.  I can't imagine someone not hitting the restart mission from the load screen.

Does she raise her voice and appear to be visibly affected?

Yep... I would say it is the only time you see her lose her cool.  Tried to find a video but couldn't.

I can't find the video, either.  I can't disappoint Samara, I like her so much, so I'm not going to load up a save just to see her get angry.

I do want to see that video however. I once screwed up Thane's mission lol and he just got really mopey and said something like, "there will be a murder tonight..." or something and walks away. Samara probably says something to that effect, but with a mothers rage.

I hate scanning planets (the only thing I hate about ME2).... but I always get all my resources out of the way right after I pick up Mordin and upgrade the scanner speed.

I take care of the resource issue with the save editor.:innocent:  I haven't scanned a planet for resources since about a week after the game was released.:P  That planet scanning the way it is designed is pitiful.  Bad idea on Bioware's part.  Easily one of the worst, if not the worst idea of the game in how it is implemented.  It doesn't bother me in the slightest that I don't do it.

I always felt adding resources via the editor was too much like cheating, and it "tainted" the rest of my game. However, after doing five runs or something, I said "f*ck it", and added 500,000 of each mineral for my latest. Wasting such a substantial part of my life on something so mindless as scanning (and hurting my entertainment in the process) completely defeated the whole purpose of "playing a game". I'm just sorry it took me so long. That mini-game was certainly a colossal miscue on Bioware's part. Really hurt replay, I feel.

Yeah... I have no qualms about skipping out on the weaker (and unnecessary) aspects of a game, especially if I've already suffered through them in one playthrough. Kind of reminds me of the "convenience tweaks" I downloaded for BGII way back when. As I see, it, there's nothing wrong with trimming out some of the fluff so you can spend more time on what's really important - which, in BioWare games, tends to be the story and the characters.

How about the Genophage data and grey box data?
I kept both. More information for me. Information is good.

Cerberus data was sent straight to the Alliance; I want the Cerberus sympathizers ferreted out and dragged before a board of inquiry.

Grey box data - trusted Kasumi with it. If it stays secret, good for the Alliance. If it gets out, so be it. They have to own up sooner or later to their crap.

Re-wrote the Geth Heretics. I considered it a removal of Sovereign's tampering with the "natural" evolution of the Geth. What the Geth decide to do later is up to them.

Genophage data. I share the Council's conclusions that it was the least evil out of the options available to them. But I told Mordin to hang on to it just the same, as Wrex (or his descendents) might one day succeed in "civilizing" the krogans, rendering a reversal of the genophage cure a viable option. The sacrifices of krogan volunteers should not have been in vain.

Saved the residential area and let the spaceport explode. The ****s were turned around at Stalingrad by people with true grit, not superior defensive structures. People over assets.

You know there's another reason to choose the people over the spaceport thats purely practical.  With colonizations efforts slowed by the Collector attacks it's highly doubtful that the Alliance will be able to recolonize that planet anytime soon.  Which means the spaceport will simply be taken over by priates or mercenaries.  The colonists will probably be evacuated but it will be to another colony world like Freedom's Promise or Horizon which needs the increased numbers to survive.

Come to think of it, what should Samara's "upgrade" be if she is to return to our squad. Is there some ability you guys want her to have, or do you think she is without weakness? Tbh I want her to have more unique biotic abilities, pull and throw are a little tame for one of the more powerful biotics in the galaxy. those are pretty standard for any biotic, granted Reave it pretty deadly. I honestly think Slam would have been more fitting for her. And she should definitely have some kind of biotic blast move. lol that might make her unrealistically strong, wonder how they would explain that.

I would like a return of Singularity... damn useful ability.

Legion should become a full fledged Geth Prime. For me they are easy to take out, but are pretty formidable in any case.

...and small enough to still hang out with the crew.

Geth weather manipulation must be, if Legion is correct in stating he is the only non-heretic platform operating outside the Veil, something the Heretics were working on. Likely some kind of offensive weapon to render planets inhospitable to organics. Robots can operate in most non-corrosive atmospheres.

Actually... I think element zero is produced by stars going nova?  Maybe the weather is just a side effect and what their really tryijng to do is produce enough element zero to build a relay?  A relay that would link to the one in dark space that is, I agree it's the Heretics doing it.

Edit: found it on the mass effect wiki.   Eezo is generated when solid matter, such as a planet, is affected by the energy of a star going supernova. The material is common in the asteroid debris that orbits neutron stars and pulsars. These are dangerous places to mine, requiring extensive use of robotics, telepresence, and shielding to survive the intense radiation from the dead star.
