Did york or anyone else fail Samara's loyalty mission to see her reaction. If so, you got a vid?

No way.   I'm not upsetting Sama-sama.

You said you was going to do it to get the reaction and then reload.:?

No I didn't!

"I can't find the video, either.  I can't disappoint Samara, I like her so much, so I'm not going to load up a save just to see her get angry."

Ah "not' going to.  Ok, I missed the "not" word last night.

The ME wiki recently updated their pic of Samara and thought it was a great pic; figured I'd share:

Shep:  Ok Samara concentrate on the spot on the wall, take a deep breath and exhale slowy.  I want you to count backwards from 30 and envision yourself on a lovely tropical beach.

Samara:  This hypnotherapy is not working Shep.

I assumed that their 1000 is our (humanity's current) 70. The average lifespan.

well lets look at it logically and try to solve it once and for all!

the matron stage begins at around 350, that is when she would have her eldest daughter morinth, morinth ran at the age of 40, and she has been chasing her for 400 years. Which means Samara is likely to be around 790 years old! Bam! She's still in her sexy 700's :D

Well that's plenty of years for her to make an appearance after the fallout of mass effect 3! Maybe she can be the new shepard...

Except for one thing, she ended her maiden years early.  Remember she tells Shepard that after dropping off the slaves at the Citadel she returned to Thessia and started to settle down?

I don't think she waited until 350 to have her first child, I think it was earlier.  But that's my personal opinion.

Nothing noteworthy, just being a lazy stoner as usual.

Any specific debate currently going around?

This is an interesting take on the Collector Base decision. Got the link from another member.

The collector base argument is intriguing in the sense that it has created quite the debate. The logical/calculating choice seems to be to keep it, because of the vast tactical advantages we can potentially gain from it. While destroying it is more of the emotional/justice driven choice. The whole point of the suicide mission is to take the fight to the Collectors. You never go into enemy territory thinking, "hey we'll beat 'em all up and keep their house...". You go in thinking "we're gonna tear everything up because they've done irreparable damage to us...". So if you are a person who is more revenge driven, then there is your choice. While if you are the improvising tactician you have the other choice.

I will say though that the reasoning alignment for the choice wasn't really the best presented. It makes it out that by keeping the base you're disrespecting everyone who died in there, which is not really the case. On the flip side, by destroying it you're being irrational and sacrificing a tactical advantage for the sake of closure, when thats not necessarily the case either.

Surely if you follow the Justicar Code :D you will want to destroy that base, as a peaceful resolution is long past. See how I tied it back to Samara? ;)
