but is that pic I found implying she is pregnant with three ardat yakshi or something? the achievement doesn't make sense to me.

It's not supposed to make sense, really.  It's a fetish drawing.  Samara wasn't a Justicar when she was pregnant with her children.

lol yea that's another thing. too bad, it could have been a nice peice without the pregnancy and...color.

ME has some replay value if you play a different class, a completely different play style helps make things new and interesting, at least that's what I've found. But then again I can't play a new playthrough right after completing another, I need a different game or two in between to... flush ME out of my system otherwise I DO get kind of bored listening to more or the less the same stuff again.

Yeah... but it's fun to think he is talking trash.  It's like when Grunt combines some of his sayings.  He will start to yell "I am Krogan" but if he kills someone he will say "useless".  On rare instances he will start to say "I am", will kill someone, and say useless.  So what he end up saying is "I am useless!"

I guess I haven't listened enough to notice it.  I'll have to remember that.

Alright... I'm going to go play a little ME2....

How many playthroughs do you have?  I can't hardly play it anymore except every once and a while.

I haven't played ME2 for anything except new installments of DLC in months.  It has such poor replay value.  Now, I only launch the game to read the Cerberus Daily News, and even that is on its own website...

I kind of like the traditional system of loot in RPGs, especially in Diablo, where it feeds on everyone's gambler instincts.  ME2 has none of that.

Did ME1 have better replay value to you?  It did to me, but I am not sure if it is the orginiality factor (something new) of the 1st game of the trilogy, or if it is something else like the plot and story being centered around recruitment of your squad in the 2nd game.  Or something else entirely?

Different classes helps.  The only one I have not played much is the Vanguard.  The in your face combat style is not what I prefer.
Do you skip through a lot of the dialog when you play ME2 now?

The Vanguard is a lot of fun, quite the challenge on Insanity! The few new playthroughs I've been doing have been to check out other weapons too. I am in the middle of an Inflitrator run which was to check out the Widow and I just started a Soldier so I can get the Revenant. What class is your "main" Shepard?

And no, I don't skip dialogue yet, at least not to the extent that I do with ME1 which I've played near to 10 times. I try to mix it up a bit too and use party members I don't normally use so I hear dialogue bits I may have missed.

ME1 doesn't have much replay value to me, either.  The way the items became more powerful, and the way I could afford them at the end of the game kind of fed in to my gambler instinct.  Once the weapon modifications began to combine and become stronger, I at least had new interest in seeing how they would work in combat.  After that novelty wore off, though...nothing.

I don't fault the game for not having much replay value.  The focus is on the narrative and the characters.  I have Diablo II and Titan Quest if I want to play games with replay value.

Just out of curiosity, what class do my fellow "Samaratans" play as? Does it encourage bringing Samara in the party a lot?

I almost always play as vanguards or adepts.  I tried an infiltrator but it was too slow for me.... besides there is nothing like throwing out a singularity (adept) or pull field (vanguard) and hitting it with a warp bomb.

Know doubt the Vanguard presents quite a challenge.  I believe my favorite is the Engineer.  I love the versatility that it offers.  Sentinal is a real close 2nd to me.

I played ME1 an ungodly amount of times.  I don't even know, because I deleted several of the saves throughout the the time I played before ME2.  I have had probably around 5-7 complete playhoughs in ME2 .

Do you think Bioware develops the best RPG's in the business?  If not who?

Adept was my favorit ME1 class, but the powers take a little too long to reach the target in ME2 for my taste.  I imported an Adept from ME1 as my first playthrough for ME2.  After playing classes with Engineering skills though, I liked the way their powers reached the enemy at a slightly more rapid pace.

I do.. the close second to them is Bethesda.  I don't like JRPGs by the way... turn based combat is boring to me.

She has a tendecy to go rambo on me sometimes and get killed, but Reave is nice and she has a good cooldown time.

I loved them.  KOTOR 1 got me back into gaming.  KOTOR 1 and 2 were a bit differen than JRPGs.... they were turn based but it was fast enough that it didn't feel like it was.  It's wasn't one side having all it's characters running across a line and then hitting someone, returning to their original point, and then the other side doing the same thing.

Ahhh, gotcha! And I completely agree. But not only that, the general Japanese style and story-telling doesn't interest me. It all looks silly with gunblades, massive swords twice the size of a person, and very feminine looking male protagonists (and antagonists) in worlds with talking "cutesy" animal side-kicks.

I bought Kotor 1 from Steam a few months before ME2 was released. Steam was practically giving it away. I liked it and got into it a little, but it is pretty dated and it shows.  After playing more recent games, the graphics were not up to snuff.

Ugh, I WISH I got it via Steam, I got in the mood to play KOTOR 1 and 2 a while back and discovered I had lost the discs. I went out to buy and could only find it as a "pack" that came with several other LucasArt Star Wars games, a few that I already had for like $60! Few months later, Steam puts it on sale for like... $2-5? I nerd raged like a mother****er.

Yeah it was on sale the best I can remember anyway for about $6.  You can buy it now for $9.99.  I would say that is still pretty cheap.

Damn I miss my buddy HK, none of the characters in the ME universe even come close. Makes me want to pull out KOTOR and play again just to have that robot. I mean the krogan are great but nothing comes close to the way HK cracked me up. I truely hope they increase the dialog in ME3, ME2 was rather boring dialogue wise compared to some of the older bioware games.

Hi Eddie.
