Hey guys, it's nice to see that Samara's got some supporters, as well. I'm not a huge fan of her or anything, but I did like the character.  I thought I'd whip up a couple support banners for anyone who might be interested. Sorry they aren't anything special, I couldn't spend a lot of time on these because Photoshop was being a pain (stupid resource hog ). So, if you like either of them, great! If not, oh well, no biggie.

She is a truly amazing character, though i was kind of sad you couldn't romance her, well I picked Miranda as my main Shepard's romance, but I would love to romance Samara as an alternative.
Is this a main thread for her, or just a junk one? Cuz i've seen a lot. IF you want to make this a main one, add Sig's pics, group links etc.

Before the game was released, I didn't think I'd like her, since Asari is one of my least favorite races. But Samara is just incredibly... I don't like using this word to describe someone, but she's so cool. She's just strong, stoic and perfect. I usually hate characters without huge flaws, but Samara has really stuck to me.

And she's beautiful, too. Certainly the best looking Asari in both games. If I wasn't already bisexual I'd probably become a lesbian for her.

I remember my first incounter with Samara. My jaw dropped! She was elegant, detemined, sexy and cool. She didn't use her ablity out of anger nor malice. And pretty sexy to boot. My first thought as a FShep was "here can I get that outfit?!?" If I was a man, I'd romance her in a heartbeat. Miranda just seem too childish after meeting her. I also find her to be the tragic person in the whole group. All her daughters were so bad that she took it upon herself to stop them. I don't want to even comprehend her pain.

I still want that outfit!

Samara is one of my favorite characters in the game. Her intro was epic, plus she's devastating on the collector missions (reave ftw).  I just hope they bring her back for ME3 and not Liara. Liara was so boring and lame. Samara was vicious and had a good backstory.

Nicely done. I was going to do one with blue, but like I said, Photoshop was being annoying, so I didn't want to deal with it anymore. I still might do one or two more anyway if I get some ideas; the ones I did were pretty basic.

Going through my latest playthrough, and I'm always struck by the sadness of Samara's whole character idea: somebody who was all set down and live a quiet life, and is forced to not only abandon it, but feels a duty to systematically eliminate it.

I can't help but wonder what happened to her mate; that's part of the story I'd like to hear more about.

I'm half-way afraid of Bioware somehow twisting that aspect enough for it to somehow be Benezia. Just to screw with us.

"Ah, you romanced Liara...but now you want Samara because the other is dark/disturbing/borderline-terrifying...well...she's her mother/father/whatever! SUFFER!"

Just a thought. And I hope to god its not what they do. *shudder*

I cannot believe that there is not much support for Samara.  She is one of my fav characters - very much a kindred spirit to my Paragon FemShep.  I enjoyed all of the conversations with her.  I felt so badly for her when she was describing how she found out her children were ardat-yakshi, and how "all was not how [she] thought it would be." (Or something like that, can't find exact quote.)  Most people would crumble with despair at that moment.  But she became this stoic warrior - what an amazingly strong woman.  I was so touched when she told me that she would come for me whenever I called for aid.  Now that's someone I would love to have by my side in ME3.

Plus... as if there was any more evidence necessary... Reave!!  I cannot stop using it.  Using it on my insanity run right now.

Hopefully Bioware will just stick to the script since Samara stated that she only had three children, two of which went into seclusion etc Morinth etc. Liara doesn't fit anywhere. There would have to be some grade-A excuse - sorry - BS for that...

*cough* Anyway, I've lost count of play throughs now, rerolling the class helps mix it up a bit. I found reave especially welcome on soldier class, Harbinger gets a double dose XD he's screwed.

Yeah, she would make an interesting choice.  It would certainly be cool to learn more about her past.  I really enjoy the small chat Shep gets with her.  You're probably right, though... I don't think it would be her either.

More about Samara's past life and children: so, if she had three, were they all with the same mate?  If it was the same Asari, then maybe they were really in love.  Not just a casual pairing.  I wonder if something happened to her, or if she and/or Samara felt just couldn't stay together after they found out?  Even more tragedy for Samara.

I talked to Samara every chance I can though it would be ok if she zipped up her shirt a bit. I was disappointed I did not get to have a romance with her. She could have atleast gave me a smooooooooch . I think I would risk death if I could ever get the chance to say to Liara and Samara, "Can I have you both."
