"hey, hey, over here!" just something about the lighting in this scene, makes her look so lustrous here( JD is that appropriate word? lol)

Lustrous is the right word.  Some of these are reposts.

Ta-dah! Somewhat fluffly Samara/Shepard oneshot from your resident angst-guru!

Title was thanks to "The Uncanny"

Apologies Flamewielder if its not what you're expecting :innocent:
Your writing there did make me giggle though. ^^

I fear I may have messed this oneshot up, but I strangely feel happy with it at the same time :?

Very nicely done. It would take me a week to write something that good ^_^

It's been slow.  Very slow.  We had Ashira's delightful fanfic, and before that some discussion about human and alien theology.

Interesting, i find it strange how the Non-Human races of ME are more united under religion then humans are, all the other races can vary in politcal beliefs, culture tastes, etc but they seem to be more agreed on religion then we are.

Not true.  Though we have more religions that the ME races... there are still far less now than 1,000 years ago.  There are only 4 (main... majority) religions of the world... Judeo-Christian, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.

I find Hinduism very interesting.  A tranquil harmony with the body and the mind and the world.

Judeo-Christian refers to both Jewish and Christian faiths. Christianity was born from the Jewish faith so the term Judeo-Christian is the technical term for Christianity.

Very true.

But still we have ton's more that are less known, for example I'm a Deist and Several of my freinds are Pagan, my ex-bandmate let my read from his copy of the Necronomicon today, very intersting book.

Even with the less known religions added to the main four that still is far less than existed 1,000 years ago.

So which mission do you think Samara is most useful on? I think she works best on the derelict reaper and on the vents run at the Collector Base.

Depends on what level you play suppose.

On a side note:
I noticed that Reave doesn't work to well on husks. Ever notice that? I guess since they are already sort of dead, there isn't much life force to take away from them.

Reave is pretty stout though.

According to the novels, most human religions died out or lost any semblance of power over human affairs as organizations with the discovery of the Prothean cache on Mars.

I think he's referring to the state of human and non-human religions contemporary to the ME setting.

I take her on every mission, if it's at all possible.  Reave at least helps her to survive the higher difficulty modes.  I'm not exactly sure of the mechanic of the power, but I read somewhere that if you're at full health, and use Reave on an unshielded target, it boosts your maximum health by 200 points, which is pretty cool.

I wonder, is this the fate of most Human religion if we discover other intelligent life in the universe?
