Reave is the bomb. I've noticed that the Collectors seem to be the most vulnerable to biotics, so I tack that bonus power onto every character. It works against everything, and is almost like a mini reusable health kit when used on organics. Get someone in your squad with Unstable Warp and you've got a one-two biotic punch that will floor most enemies, and put quite a first-strike dent into the tougher ones.

But you have to make sure that either you or another squadmate has lift.

You mean Pull?

Depends on what level you play suppose.

On a side note:
I noticed that Reave doesn't work to well on husks. Ever notice that? I guess since they are already sort of dead, there isn't much life force to take away from them.

Reave is pretty stout though.

Reave is best when used on Barrier and Armor.  The bonus of it working on organics is that your health multiplies by 2 (but I don't think you get it from husks).  Reave is the best bonus power for Vanguards.... and is best evolved to area reave.

You really ought to try ought Engineer and Sentinal.

I tried a Sentinel... but that tech armor looked so ugly to me that I couldn't keep playing it.

Your kiddin?  Heck don't turn it on then.  You ought to try Engineer ought.  That drone comes in very handy.  All of the other talents are nice too.  Very versatile IMO.

I just love playing as a biotic.

Same here man.

Is it just me or did the biotics in ME 1 feel more powerfull than those in ME 2?

Yeah (sorry... I'm a ME1 biotic player)... or singularity (but that would be Shepard).

In ME1 you didn't have to worry about armor or shields... biotics just worked.  A maxed out adept could juggle someone in the air continually.

I won't lie, I've probably used Zaeed a whole lot more than Samara too, if only cause you can get him really early on. He has some funny things to say too. I've sadly not come across much of spontaneous dialogue for Samara yet.  :(

I'll bring Mordin along too sometimes.  When I play engineer and I am fighting organics, a lot of times I'll  bring Mordin and Zaeed with me and just burn the heck out of everything.

Tech Armor's fun if only because it bugs out a lot. I love going in to a cutscene/QTE with my Tech Armor on beforehand, only to see that it's become disembodied from my Shepard and is hanging out over there on the other side of the room. This happens a lot during the Firewalker missions.

What does everyone think of the new SMG?

I prefer the Tempest to the Locust.  I always upgrade to an AR.  The Tempest is better close range and against shields/barriers.  The Locust works better for long range... but I go for the AR for distance shooting.

What about for your squadmates that don't have the AR?

Apparently it doesn't matter for them. They are equally acurate with the Tempest and Locust. For them the Locust is better.

Well if accuracy didn't matter with the squadmates, then I would think the Tempest would be better because of more damage.  Or does damage not matter with squadmates either?

I thought about what it must have been like for Samara as the doctor was telling her that all of her daughters would express the Ardat-Yakshi trait.  I try to picture her crying and sobbing, but it doesn't work, because the image I have of her is of someone who cannot be moved emotionally.  It must have been excruciating, to finally find someone to settle down with, only to have it all come crashing down in an instant.

That scene might make for a good bit of fanart, as depressing as it would be.

Perhaps a profile of her sitting in a chair in front of a bay window. The Sun setting with her looking out of the window, with one cheek resting against one of her hands, and a tear running down her cheek.

I can only imagine how traumatizing that would be, it's horrible.

Does Samara ever fully explain why she became a Justicar?

That would be a trip to have Samara and Liara both in your squad at least once in ME3 wouldn't it?

I had another image in mind, one that would take some creative liberties with design and ME lore.  It would be a side-view of Samara and an anonymous Asari doctor.  They would both be sitting on stools.  To their sides, in the background, sitting on a bench, would be three young Asari, all looking scared/concerned, and all looking at Samara.  Samara has her head held in her hands, and we can see tears streaming down her face.  The doctor has a solemn look on her face, and is looking at the floor.  There would be a hand on Samara's shoulder, and the arm to which the hand is attached would be visible, but we wouldn't see who it belongs to.  We would just be able to assume that it's another Asari from its color.  That would be Samara's "husband".

They would never leave my squad.

@York I also think the fanart would benefit from Morinth standing in the shadows, looking dejected, and full of angst.

I'd like to open up a dialogue about what happens after that though. Samara comes to terms with the situation and finds a safe place for her other two children to grow, while she fully expects Morinth, who's been staying out way too late, to attempt to escape. How would you guys build up to it?

The three Asari daughters sitting on the bench are Samara's three children.  Thus, one of them would be Morinth, and the artist would have to put great detail in to making sure one of them stands out as Morinth.

Speculation abound!  The people on these forums would have you believe that the bartender on Illium is the father of every Asari in existence (joking).

That's as silly as "the Illusive Man is the Shadow Broker/a Reaper/a Prothean" theories that get repeated on these boards. :pinched:

These boards have some big time rumor mills going 24/7.
