I wish you would write some about the Samara character a few times Mondo.  I enjoy your writing in the Jack thread about Jack.


I will when I get more of a handle on her... she's certainly interesting, but I'm not sure if I like her that much. I've very conflicted about the Code - it seems like making excuses for doing the job no matter what a'la Renegade Shep, yet she's very judgemental of renegade-type actions. I need a better handle on it before I jump in.


I don't know what to think of that little curiosity.  Either Bioware was playing on the moral ambiguity of Samara's endeavors, or they just went with the "derp Renegade is evil, Paragon is good, Samara is good, let's go with that"  path.

So we have Samaritans, Jackolytes, Talimancers, Miridians... I assume Jacob fans are Jacobites (all three of them)... Thane fans would have to be Thanes, surely? Grunt fans, Grunts obviously. Legion fans, Legionaires. What the hell do you call Garrus fans though?!?!!? ;)

I think that's part of her allure, actually. That she's seemingly given up free will in order to have a constant in her life to rely upon; one which makes her moral decisions for her.
There are a few moments where that façade falters though, and her latent inability to sometimes explain exactly why she willingly chose a life of solitude and hardship shines through.
Save Jack, I think she's the most fascinating character of ME2.

Considering the warnings Mordin gives Shep about sleeping with Jack, I'm surprised there hasn't been some parody cartoon yet with Jack in what's left of Shep's bed smoking a cigarette looking veeeery content, the entire room looks like a bomb has gone off in it, and Shepard is biotically-glued to the ceiling.

The first frame is of Jack in Shepard's bed, everything is destroyed, as you said.  She's holding some bedsheets over her chest (because Jack's in to decency, of course).   She's smoking a cigarette.   She looks very happy.

The second frame is the same as the second, but Jack is looking up at something.

The third frame shows Shepard suspended against the ceiling.   He has a surprised look on his face.  His eyes are wide open.  He's holding some bedsheets over his groin, and the bedsheets are hanging down.

Now to find an artist to draw this...

I checked that thread.   I saw that Jack had lost to Miranda.  Voting there is like pissing in to an ocean of ****** and hoping that it'll improve the quality of the water.  Too harsh?
