I love Samara's suite of powers, especially Reave. I always max her Justicar ability to Sapiens Justicar, and then just max Throw to Throw Field, without putting points in Pull. Throw Field is great for husks. Then I unlock Reave and max it. Both options are good. I love the fact that Reave works on barriers, armor and shields.
This.

Reave is one of the most hair-raising powers in the game. Samara is far more a biotic vampire than her daughter, but where Morinth merely gets stronger after each victim, Samara stays in absolute top form by draining her enemies dry, healing what damage they've done, and becomes an almost unstoppable killing machine. Worse, she can suck the life from whole groups at once.

Heh, it's true, she even says "Your life is now mine" or something close to that when she casts it. I imagine Morinth says the same thing when using Dominate.

Reave is a vampiric ability, so its not far-fetched to claim that the A-Y gene contributes to its development. If you look at Samara's portrayed powers. she seems to just be a massively powerful biotic, able to manipulate many objects around her and harness large biotic shields, so having Reave gives her a unique mix.
The Reave power, while certainly cool, was a step away from the science-based mass-effect field powers of ME1. It's fun to use, but it has little to do with physics, IMO. Warp, Singularity, Throw, Lift, Pull and Barrier can all be explained by theoretical physics while Reave delves more into biology/metabolism acceleration or even metaphysics (draining a "life-force"). It's more akin to a "Force" power à la KOTOR than a true biotic power in the ME1 sense. The same can be said of Dominate.
You could even argue that Reave and Dominate powers have more of a Tech than Biotic mode of operation.
I'll have to try out that Reave-Warp explosion next time I take Sam and Miri out on a walk...
On an unrelated topic, I was thinking it would be nice for the Cerberus logo to be replaced by the familiar Paragon/Renegade icon in ME3. Both logos are nice-looking, non-species oriented, and could reflect Shepard's chosen path on the Normandy, as well as crew uniforms, squaddies armor, vehicles, etc... Create an "esprit-de-corps", a sense of belonging on the same team in spite of personal differences. Squaddies could even joke about it (I imagine Samara and Jack would have an interesting take on it, as both were pretty much loners prior to joining Shepard).

Samara's own Magic: The Gathering card. Any input? And of course her card color is blue!
Ok, after the brilliant Jack one you did, and this one too... you're officially stuck making one for everyone now!
Granted, I was never that hot at Magic (only tried it a couple of times and frankly didn't get it

I didn't create the two cards to be compared to each other, but, more powerful? Samara could do a bunch of things to compete. She could tap Jack to prevent her from using her "destroy target creatures" ability. Samara could siphon Jack down to 0/0. 0/0 creatures are put in to the graveyard.

There is something about female vampires that I find seductive. Is it just me?7Makaveli wrote...

Samara-variant of a popular pose.
Those pictures are beautiful, but I just can't bring myself to like her black suit. It makes Samara look too much like Morinth.

We need a Lazarus Project card then
Magic was never something I got into, so I'd not pretend to be able to understand all the higher functionality, though I always did quite like the art on the cards at least.

Ah, the artist finally created a romance-impartial version. And he/she included Jacob, that's a nice touch.
