The last pic looks like she finds it weird to be seeing a human up close.

"What... what are those hairy things above the eyes...?"

If you look closely at the first picture, isn't there a line going from the corner of her lips? It immediately makes me think of the batman's Joker.

*rubs eyebrows* Yeah...yeah we're cursed with them.

That first pic on the top of this page looks great, would make a cool avatar imo.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to drop by and show my support for Samara. She is an amazing character and I really hope she'll be a squadmate in ME3; I can't imagine saving the galaxy from the Reapers without her by my side. Samara is definitely my favorite character in the franchise.

I like Samara, she is a great character and I would be sourly mad if she didn't return in ME 3.

I also feel intrigued by Morinth, though I can't kill Samara so I always kills Morinth.

She isn't as powerful as she is in the cut scenes, and she won't sleep with me.

I don't like her lack of armor in vacuum. Yet I still pick her and send her first into battle...

Neither is Jack when you think about it, she blasted through Purgatory faster than Shepard and Co. could follow. And yet...two YMIR mechs can own her in battle. Oh well, just blame the game mechanic XD

As a little bit more detail, they could have given her, Jack, Miranda and Mordin seperate masks; if they -really- wanted them to have breathers =P Otherwise, we can go on just ignoring their vacuum defying appearances.

Samara has my support. I`m not that big on `paladins` but she warmed up to me.

Samara doesn't need Dominate to mind-control people. She has her eyes for that.

Don't stare overlong, though.

Bump for Samara!

I was playing ME2 again, and there is the one scene where you're talking with her on the observation deck and you ask her a question. She stays sitting down and motions you over so you both can talk. Then you stand above her waiting for her to start talking and she motions again for you to sit down next to her. I thought this was simple but very cool.

Samara, isn't in awe of you. She respects you and thinks you are a worthy warrior but she thinks of you as an equal. No need to stand up each time you enter the room. Samara's thoughts, "We're equals, I've stood up previous times you've come in to talk - I feel like sitting down now, you sit down next to me and we'll talk."

With all the interest surrounding LI polls for both male/female players, I figured I'd do the same for Shepard's closest friends. Being limited to 20 options, I had to make choices. I settled for player gender/closest friend of your Shepard.

I know a lot of players will say "My Shep's best friend IS his/her LI..." but that's not the purpose of this poll. We want to know which characters are most appealing as best friends to Shepard.

Who's gonna play card or share a drink with him/her? Who's gonna tease him/her for daring to drink rynchol in the Dark Star and passing out on the washroom floor? Who's gonna be the one taking the bullet for him/her so he can return to the Normandy and shag his/her LI silly?

Comments are most welcome. Poll can be found at http://social.biowar...664/polls/3602/

It's great to see activity in Samara's thread. A question for anyone willing to answer: which one of her costumes do you prefer? I like her in both, but I tend to use her default appearance more often.

I like the loyalty costume for two reasons.  First once everyone's rocking the loyalty outfits (Except Legion) they look very Dirty Dozen.

Second, the black suits her so much more than the maroon.

I don't see, "drunk"  I see "Take me now, sub-creature!"  And for the record, yes please.

I really enjoyed the sit-dialouge too! :) It was a pleasant suprise, really didn't expect that, but you make a great point.

imho the scene where Shep and Samara almost imbrace as she is telling him they can't ever be together is the sexiest scene in ME so far.Posted Image It just makes Shep want her more

I like her loyalty costume. I found out recently that it's actually black, but it's always looked dark blue to me, which I thought looked nicer with her skin tone.

My reasons to love Samara's character, in no particular order:

1. She actually says no to Shepard. Apparently this is very, very difficult in ME universe.
2. She meditates cross-legged while conjuring a ball of energy between her hands. I'm a sucker for that.
3. She carries her guilt well, and has done so for centuries.
4. With almost 1,000 years of combat experience, she's obviously badass - even once she's in my squad. Unlike some other "powerful" biotics... grumble...
5. Related to 4 - Reave. And last but not least,
6. When she opens up to you after the loyalty mission it feels genuine, and there is no forced romance around it.

She's actually one of my favorite new characters in ME2, alongside Mordin.

What I don't like it the mystification of biotics Samara does or represents. It brings it too close to the force to me.
