I was just thinking about ME3 and I was curious, how big of a change do you think we will see if you chose Morinth over Samara?

I don't see why Morinth would return for Shepard in ME3.  Maybe for his delicious BRAAAIIIIIIIIINNNNNS?

In one of my play throughs I chose morinth and after talking to her she seems like she is really attracted to shepard. Maybe she will stay for the possibility of sex? I can picture her acting as Samara in ME3 though too.

Ok I love Samara really I do but was anyone else bothered that she's the only character in mass effect to run around combat in a costume that is not made for battle?

Mass Effect did a great job showing female characters in realistic fighting gear and then Samara walks out in really high heels and a top that looks like it needs double sided tape (I'm a woman I looks at outfits like that and think how it works ok?)

Mostly for me it was the heels because while I could run in heels like that if I had to I wouldn't wear them if I KNEW I was going to be running around a lot. It really messed up my suspension of disbelief for that character, to me she looked like she'd escaped from a super hero comic book and didn't fit in with the Mass Effect universe. Jack I could believe she had a small build, prone to doing somewhat stupid things and being all FU about it and while the chaffing would be terrible you could at least give her a top to put under it after loyalty. Samara seemed to me to be the kind to know better, she's wise and regal and the outfit didn't click with that at least for me.

All I'm saying is as a result My main femShep ended up leaving poor Samara on the Normandy 99% of the time for fear she'd break her leg, ruin her feet or have a wardrobe malfunction involving the double sided tape.

Honestly I giggled when she first came on screen and I don't think that's what the developers were going for.

Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll come out with a DLC costume for her with shoes made for combat and a top that actually looks like it gives her some support and I'll actually use her more in my play through.

(I did use her as my Biotic in the SM, she didn't have to run during it and I wanted to let her do SOMETHING)

Yes, its quite obvious.

@flame no Card on your list?

I looked into the Union-Alliance universe books. Look interesting.

The list was by no means exhaustive... I do have Ender's Game.

Joe Haldeman, Robert Heinlein, Larry Niven, Isaac Asimov, James P. Hogan, David Brin also take up several bookshelves in my basement... Image IPB

Image IPBWell... on the good side, if they ever get a more "combat-friendly" appearance DLC, you'll enjoy a fresh take on missions with Samara! If you ever get to see some early concept art for Samara, you'll see they had a much more conservative look in mind. The awe-inspiring, gravity-defying cleavage came much later... Me, I just don't notice it anymore.

How can you be sure she's being sincere, and isn't simply playing the charmer to get at Shepard's delicious BRAAAIIIIIIIIINNNNNS?

It makes me weary of a *whispers* cameo for either one.  Really we don't know though.  Reminds me of what they did with *whispers* Wrex.

Am i the only one that's not bothered by her big boobs?

And yes i do believe someone would not go fighting in that outfit, but would anybody fight in Miranda's, Jack's or etc.?

It's all about the cheesecake, ReiSilver.  Think of it this way:  If you're able to look past the silly appearances of some of the characters and actually appreciate them, you can count yourself among the individuals intelligent enough to not be put off by their clothes and oversized body parts, for example.

Me?    I  love her high-heels, and the way they join with her suit, or are a part of her suit.  Being able to excel in combat while wearing shoes like that puts Samara on some ascendant level of martial prowess.

I am not too crazy about it either.  At least give the squaddies that aren't wearing armor, the ability to change to armor b4 going on a mission.

For all we know, Samara leaving her bosom a bit exposed might have some benefit to her biotics or something. We don't know how biotics works, perhaps having a bit of skin exposed boosts her biotic corona and powers a little. Who knows? And the high heels aren't THAT high, so they don't bother me. I like her outfit. I'd wear it if I could just lose that last 5 pounds. :D

The Justicar outfit's impracticality is well documented, but I think it is truly majestic. The best designed costume in ze game, you can bet Morinth desperately wanted it XD

Yes, perhaps it provides a biotic headlight boost to her powers.  Help her focus them better.:D

seeing as how Liara and Ashley/Kaidan were virtually unchanged in appearance from ME1 to ME2 (this is 2 years we're talking about, and the same bloody outfit?) I don't foresee any kind of significant change with Samara. If there is any kind of change, I hope nothing changes form the neck up, because it is aesthetically flawless (so is the rest of her though :D). Sure, anything below that can be altered depending on whether they want to go for realism. But truthfully, I really don't have any problem with her appearance as is.

One thing i do envy from other characters. Their catch phrases. ie 'kelah salai' 'the prize' 'guddamnit' 'big guddamn heroes'(<favorite)

samara doesn't really use any idioms or say anything catchy.
