The only gameworld excuseoid I can come up with for the ridicolous Justicar comic book superhero uniform, is to intimidate foes with a: "I can take you down, even wearing this hampering gaudy **** and here - I'll leave a big giant hole in the suit, right over my heart (not that I'm familiar with Asari physiology) - take a shot, I dare you.", kind of approach.
Can I really be the only one who can't stand the pieces of shiny plastic Samara's got glued to her forehead, by the way? It seems every aspect of her appearence, is designed to contrast with her dignified demeanor.

All intellectual academia aside, Samara is one hot fox and god damn but I do enjoy her big boobs. There. I said it....That she also has much more to offer on various fronts only makes her all the more appealing in my opinion.
I bet everybody here thinks that but few have the balls to say it.
I agree she is mighty fine.

I neither confirm nor deny these accusations.
Also, has anyone else noticed that all threads on the forum are starting to slow down, in terms of activity?

Actually Grunt's B'day thread became active again once Bioware/GK (and Tali) started responding again. Other than that I guess most folks are anxiously awaiting next weeks news...

Why not take both DLC and ME3?

No DLC for Samara. DLC treatment of main characters is irresponsible, unless some serious resources are poured in to it.
Samara receiving attention in an expansion? Yes, please!

Yeah an expansion that included Samara would be good but not if they made her an LI, that needs to be saved for ME 3.

of ME2 they seem to have two separate groups, one dealing exclusively
with DLC/Expansion type work, the other one working just on ME3. So
there is hope that quality of both will be improving ...

Yeah. If Bioware wants to pitch her as a LI in future content, it should be in ME3, especially if she sticks around to help Shepard. We've seen how dedicated she is, and how resistant she is to distractions. And if Bioware can manage to write a romance with her and Shepard as the one some people here thought would be best (the subtle path), it would be even better.

Yes a romance such as this will need time to develop so that it will come off well with fans and i want to see it in ME 3.

Well, the game is getting pretty old by now. I'm sure a lot of people have moved on to other games.
And speaking as a woman, boobs are power. Believe it. Samara obviously does.

So, do you think that Samara displays herself like that because she views it as empowering? This assumes a lot about Asari sexuality, of course.

Actually, I don't think Samara thinks about it one way or the other. For all we know, it was the only 'armor' she could get, and because it mostly functioned to her needs, she chose it. I don't think she cares about her appearance all that much, and one outfit is as good as any other as long as it does what she needs it to do. Don't forget, Justicars take a 'vow of poverty', so her clothing options might be more limited than we might think, and perhaps some asari ship captain gave her this outfit some years back.

This makes me think again about the Justicars and money & property matters. Justicars give up their wealth and possessions when they enter the Order, but what do they do with money that they come upon along the way? For example, a kidnapped man's family has the ordeal solved by a Justicar, and, out of gratitude, they insist that the Justicar take the money that would have gone to the ransom. It seems to me that she would either outright refuse, and that makes sense. But, alternatively, she could take the money and distribute it to charities and the needy in general, and benefit more people that way than just refusing to take the money.
EDIT: Fixed typos.

For a non-renegade Shepard that is, from the looks of it she might not even show for a Renegade. But I have reached a head-scratching point with Samara. ME writing has tendency to shoot itself in the foot, and I just feel there is too many angles they have to write around for Samara to show up in ME3, or to even bother writing her at all.
1. She can die in either her loyalty mission, or the suicide mission. If they feel too many may have killed her off, they might not want to invest too many resources.
2. If you've renegaded, she will try to kill you if you cross paths again. EDIT: Doesn't make for much of a friendly reunion.
3. The third oath of subsumation is temporary. EDIT: After surviving the mission, there are places she indicated she would want to go to "clean up"
4. She is not a LI, possibly tossing her down a few in the list of characters the writers should prioritize.
5. She is not directly related to the plot i.e Mordin, Miranda. Therefore, not arbitrarily required to complete the game.
Those are a few of the main obstacles. I challenge all ya'll to write around those if you want, give your personal take on how to overcome those points, it could stimulate the activity around here. Some are easier to write around, some are not.
And for good measure, I'll put in points that allow her to return.
1. She promises to come for you if you are Paragon, or just a nice guy.
2. She is wise and realizes the Reaper threat is absolutely the most important task she could undertake.
3. She likes to take on challenges and proving herself.
4. She will not stop fighting or Justicar'ing anytime soon; "When I die, it will not be in bed"
5. We like her.........lots.
