I just realized, if they had made Samara a LI in this game she would be available for those creepy cuddle scenes up in the captains quarters. *shivers at the thought*

That goes in my list for "reasons to not make Samara a LI" in the next game.

Im back, i think she should be an LI in ME 3 with restrictions.

Must be Paragon

Can't have romanced anyone else (Someone like Samara would be turned off by a love triangle.)

And mabye some other stuff (Any ideas?)

She has a really great character that can be explored through a non-cliche romance.

Those romance scenes are cheesy. I wish the game was more mature in this area. Not necessarily more nudity, but the cuddling is kinda meh. Show em under the sheets or something. I suppose the player is not technically suppose to be able to extrapolate that there is any copulation going on. Well that's ok, but I would rather see them having a glass of wine on the couch, and then kiss, and then have the screen go dark instead of cuddling. It's kinda funny, because some of the game does seem a little mature, but whenever you get to the romance scene, then you dip down to 13yr old territory.

Edit: Just to add to the romance scenes. The whole Kelly fling was full of contradiction. It makes no sense. You have your yoeman come up to your quarters in an outfit and watch her dance, and then she jumps on your lap like your in a strip club. Then you go to the bed and cuddle. It's like going to a bar and drinking non-alcoholic beer, or smoking candy cigarettes or something along those lines.

I like Samara, and I like Liara, but I had two references to Samara, and zero to Liara, so I changed things. I don't like any of the Liara sigs, so here I am.

This thread seems almost useless now to me. The material is exhausted. The whole game material is exhausted, or close to it. The forum threads are about as useless.

I finally worked myself up enough to sacrifice the Council in ME1 (after 8 playthroughs) and found Anderson's welcome sounded warmer than when the Council survives. Heck, I was surprised how insulting the Council's reception is in comparison. It almost made me regret saving their sorry behinds...

I got a good laugh out of LiquidGrape's animation... but it shows how improved the squaddies animations were in ME2, in terms of environment interactions. I hope they do more of that in ME3, rather than simply having squaddies simply standing there staring (like in the Ash/Kaidan reunion scene on Horizon... ackward). If there's something interesting in the vicinity, squaddies not involved in the discussion should do like Samara and admire the waterfall.

I thought that Anderson is unnerved by Shepard if he decides to sacrifice the Concil. I could never bring myself to kill the attractive Asari Councillor. I want to be able to airquote at the Turian Councillor in ME3. The Salarian Councillor seems like a bro.

I probably had at least 20 playthroughs of ME1. I don't think I saved the council more than twice. I did it once as paragon and once as renegade to see what would happen.

Yes, airquoting the turian is likely going to happen, if only because it's an easy piece of fan service.

What do you mean? Animations specific to a certain character in a specific cutscene?

In tali's loyalty mission they do. The squad member you bring along will sit down in the crowd. Not very exciting though
