I love whoever drew that...

To 'add' to the conversation on romance, I had a tiny idea, just a 'moment' if Shepard and Samara got to that point - where by Shepard gently removes the symbols from her forehead only to lay a kiss in their place.

It would be nice if Samara's biotic corona was a bit larger and a little more detailed.  That might distract the eye too much, though.  Also, Jack's abs.  <3

Does she close her eyes and lower her head a bit at this, or keep her eyes open and head up, staring directly in to Shepard's eyes?

In my head it was the former. :unsure:


The first one makes the scene a little more emotional, but might seem a little out-of-character for Samara

The second one is impersonal.  It's like Shepard removing bits of Samara's armor, her cold, hardened exterior.  It's symbolic.  It just allows her to stay in-character.

I think keeping her eyes open and tilting her head towards him is most appropriate. That way it still seems like she is doing it more so for Shepard's sake, and Shepard is not taller than her so there needs to be some angling.

I would like to entertain the idea that when it comes down to it she can let her guard down (of course only to Shepard in this regard) and be more emotional. But that might be from personal preference...



I just like the idea of that ultimate trust to let another "see you for what you are." Let them hold your heart with each one of its beautiful, deadly flaws and trust them to protect it.

The main problem I see with this romantic scenario is that if Samara is shown to be too serious and lacking in emotion, it makes it appear as if Shepard is forcing this upon her. Samara doesn't let people force things upon her.

The solution would be to really focus on Samara's facial expressions in the scene.  Maybe she has a tiny smile on her lips while Shepard leans in to kiss her forehead.

Depending on the artist's skill, this would be a piece I would love and hate at the same time. Crying Samara...sad face :<

The artist has a couple of other commissions to work through first, so now I  play the waiting game.  All the Liarafans here on the forum are very familiar with this artist.
