Don't you think it would be awkward wishing Samara a happy mother's day? Considering what she's been through.
Yes. It's a very bad idea all around.

Perhaps, but she is still a mother after all. If she killed Morinth on Mother's Day, then yeah, I think I would refrain from wishing her Happy Mother's Day. Otherwise though, she's still a momma.AKFTF wrote...

She still has love, and is still proud of her children I would assume though.yorkj86 wrote...

Well, I wouldn't recommend barging into the observation deck blowing a kazoo and shouting "Happy Mother's Day". I don't see anything wrong with perhaps giving her a rose and a poem for Mother's Day though. If it coincided with Morinth's death, I would leave her alone.AKFTF wrote...
I think it would depend on how long after Morinth had died, but you have tread very carefully. I'm not sure we know enough about her relationship with her other daughters to truly gauge a good way to approach the subject. I think, like yorkj86, it would be best to avoid it. However, she doesn't need to be completely ignored; how about giving her thanks for being a friend instead?
No, I just changed it earlier so you could see the other avatar. I like the other one better, but I like to mix it up a little every now and then.AKFTF wrote...
I see you changed your avatar again JohnnyDollar. Conflicted?

Samara, Samara, is a wonderful mama
Its too bad she had bad karma
Now she runs around the galaxy, ending all the drama
And on the Normandy she meditates like the Dalai Lama

Yeah, she ought to be all choked up and emotional after reading that one.7Makaveli wrote...

I was just thinking of that drawing of her in that thread last night. I think of that drawing and then "Mothers Day", it just ain't right! Thank goodness that Samara is just a written character represented with pixels, and not a real person.
I almost regret telling this thread about it7Makaveli wrote...

Still, what has been seen, cannot be unseen.....
It just bothers me that those "kind" of pictures are more abundant than actual genuine fan art for the characters.

I have seen a hell of a lot worse photos than that of real people uploaded in other forums. I was surprised that someone uploaded those here in this forum though. I shouldn't have been surprised though. Speak of the devil, someone did it in the Liara thread today.

I am confident enough in my own beliefs about sexuality and such, to put it in perspective, and not have it affect me. I think some people may still be uncomfortable with their own sexuality and perhaps let it affect them too much.

I was referring more to the "artwork" in itself, if you want to call it that, and peoples' individual reactions to viewing it, not the uploaders themselves. There was quite a bit of it uploaded in another thread last night.LuckyIronAxe wrote...
