Also, did you ever find out anymore info about mods for the 360?  Did you ever pm that member?

I went out to dinner last night... and fell right a sleep when I got home.  As for modding my 360... I looked at the modding thread and it was way too complicated for my computer skills.  It would also take me ordering a couple pieces of hardware to do it.  I'm broke right now... so I'll just scan planets.

By eye lids I assume you meant eye lashes? She has both.

I concur, although her inner struggle over not wanting to know if a criminal is a loving father suggests strong leanings towards "Good". Her dedication to Law sometimes chafes her conscience, so she prefers ignorance over knowledge, blind dedication to Law over a willfull devotion to it (à la Judge Dredd).

Judge Dredd's moral compass is utterly bound to Law, untempered by mercy or compassion. Samara is bound by her Code to act the same, but privately expresses reservations about it and appears to derive genuine happiness when she's able to both serve the Law AND be compassionate.

Male Shepherd comes off as the usual horndog hero.
Female Shepherd comes off as emotionally needy and desperately lonely.

Yeah I've personally never tried to pursue the option, I really don't think your ENTIRE squad needs to be a love interest, I mean really? It was pretty ridiculous at 6 but anyway!

I find it laughable that people got all upset she turns you down(why you even have the option is beyond me) and the fact you can actually pursue it with Morinth just worries me as to the state of the franchise

Agreed -6 was too many and Samara did not need a love scene

yeah i used miranda the first time for that barrier and jack got eaten!!! miranda had nothing left for that one last burst so she basically killed jack. wait, maybe it was intentional...

then just little chats you can have with her on the ship... when she invites you to sit on the floor with her and smiles, telling you that she's at peace 'due in no small part to you'. That's cool.


Another random thing she says that cracks me up is SO the obvious.. she'll kill a baddie then say:

'that one is dead.'

Hello all, its too bad I passed out last night as I would have wanted to discuss more of Samara's alignment. I went to TvTropes to see what they would say about it, but there was no entry for Samara...so I added one (last sentence)

In Mass
Effect, a Paragon
Commander Shepard is the epitome of Lawful
Good. Lt. Kaidan Alenko, as one of the most Paragon-leaning
squadmates, also defaults to Lawful
Good, and Paragon Shepard can guide the normally Chaotic
Good Garrus's Character
Development toward the lawful as well. Mass
Effect 2 depicts Justicar Samara as a follower of a Code that
is believed to be of the Lawful
Good alignment, but its absolute and sometimes brutal nature leaves
room for interpretation.

My interpretation is that I would think the Lawful Good narrative would have areas for mercy and forgiveness, whereas the Code does not. The counter to that would be Justicars are mostly involved in situations where only few options are left anyway, so they must be swift.

Hmm it seems TvTropes has her on Lawful Neutral category:

Samara of Mass Effect 2 is a justicar, a vigilante Knight Templar whose code bounds her to kill those who harm innocents. However she's experienced enough to avoid being Lawful Stupid and willing to bend her code just enough to avoid such behavior.

what do you guys think? should I leave my edit in the first one?
