I haven't actually, tho i've seen how they turn out and I think I like Garrus' the most. The follwing sentence is an oxymoron but, the awkwardness of it makes me comfortable

It's why I haven't done it too. Nothing I couldn't handle, but awkward. I felt like doing the romances with FemShep and pretending to be the LI instead of FemShep, hoping that would take away the awkwardness of it. Siansonea II gave me a good idea a while back though. She says that on some of her playthoughs, she doesn't see any of the characters as an avatar of herself. Almost as if she is watching a movie. This may make it easier.7Makaveli wrote...

yes, I often play this game with a lot of friends watching me and they always say how "movie-like" it is, that is its true appeal imo, the almost real characterization and dialogue scenes. Moments like the first Thane flashback, Jack's sex offer, and Samara's wave over held us quite rapt.

If you was going to have your choice of an Asari LI, which one would it be?
I kinda like Seryna. Shiala is nice too. Actually, the Asari council member is my favorite.

Shiala is the most realistic one for my shep, he likes the mentally tortured, repentant, classic pretty types
Ofcourse if liara comes around Id be all over that, and I would be initially skeptical of a samara romance
Btw typing from phone now so it might come out ratorted

Lets see, my playthroughs are as fallowed....
Chad: Paragade Personal Shep, Spacer, Soul Survivor, Vanguard, LI Tali (No ME 1 LI).
Bruce: Renegade Shepard, Earthborn, Ruthless, Soldier, LI Ashley (Both Games).
Rebecca: Paragon Femshep, Colonist, War Hero, Adept, LI Liara but split up and hooked up with Jacob (Big surprise there huh guys, it was over with Liara after she forced me to help her in murdering a man by threatening to kill all five.)

I have one playthrough on ME2, that essentially can have any LI right now. I exhausted the dialog with all 3 females. I can do a scene, then reload, then go do a scene with another.
I have one current Jack as the LI.
I have 2 current Femsheps with no LI.
I have 1 current MaleShep I haven't decided yet.
Have you let Jack renegade pounce you?

Well, she's an invaluable friend and teaher to my Personal Shep, my Renegade Shepard....no....it's too painful, and my Paragon Femshep is at odds with her sometimes so no. But what I'm doing as we speak is running through with a default ME 2 starter character (to see all the choices the developers made for the people who picked up ME 2 without playing ME 1), and I plan to try to woo Samara (Paragon of course) and keep her LI open in hopes for a Samara relationship in ME 3.

Don't lose hope Johnny, back in the day of the ME 1 forums, everyone said that Tali would never become a LI, but me and a few others never gave up, kept posting, two years later, look what happend!
